When you get a hysterical call at three in the morning, and have to go across town to kill a "gigantic huge" roach because they are "too scared to sleep", you will relate to that scene. At least they did not show the hour it takes to "sanitize the area", and the hour to stand guard why they get some rest. That scene was pretty funny. Forget killing the roach, I would have passed out from all the bug spray that was being used (and strangely not affecting them).

Do not judge this drama by its title, it is one of the better short dramas. The strength of the drama was the FL who had screen presence, and the fluffy romance sprinkled with comedy which was the plot. The ML was okay, and making his character awkward and shy seemed to minimize his lack of experience. They was plenty of chemistry overall too (main couple, friends, love doctor).

Even if it does not gain the support that it deserves, I hope it gets an official response.

If you came to this particular comment section to find information or discussion about Lee Young Ae or her dramas, I think you actually might be the crazy one (kidding of course). That was never going to happen. Situations like this can happen when there is an article that is related to Asian dramas, but not directed related to it. Think scandals like legal issues, bullying, and infidelity as a few examples. I can safely say that comments on articles like that tend to get out of control (and rather quickly).
I think rather than try to prohibit any sort of discussion that is not directly related, it would be better to disable the comment section of articles that would obviously generate toxic comments, and move the discussion of those articles to the forums.

A lot of the ones that are just news could have comments disabled. Of course this one was going to get out of control. Same with the ones about bullying, or scandals. I understand if the staff gets overwhelmed trying to keep up with the site, but disabling comments on certain articles would minimize the need to keep an eye on them.

You severely overestimate Russia's (or any country's for that matter) military might. A day is impossible. Russia could not stop people from fleeing because they do not have the capacity to do so. Politics, economics, war, and just about everything else related to a society is much different on a computer or board game than real life.
There are also reports of Russian military targeting civilians and civilian structures.
Such an agreement was never made about NATO's expansion. No treaty signed by the US, Europe, or Russia include provisions about NATO membership. Even though Russia has asked for an assurance for such matters, that has never been agreed on by any enforcing parties.
Your logic about NATO and Ukraine is perplexing. Russia is not worried about the countries in NATO, but worried about a country that is not? Why not let them join NATO so they would be added to the list of countries to not worry about? Sorry, that just makes no sense.
Ukraine does not have 12 bio-labs that are owned by the US. They are funded by the Ukrainian government. Do you even wonder how many research labs exist in Russia? Or the US? As far as the Chinese laboratory often mentioned, there is no such public evidence. It is funded by the Chinese government, and even other companies involved have a diverse ownership group. Not to mention that there is no proof linking that site with spreading COVID.
History is full of accounts of brothers killing brothers, so you can be assured anything is possible as far as killing goes.

It is naive to think people, groups, companies, or nations cannot be labeled as pro-war. As long as there is something to gain from it, there will always be those who see it as a way to get what they want.
At different points in history, Ukraine was part of different empires, commonwealths, and countries. Do we have to search back though history to look for the original owners of all land on Earth? No.
I cannot believe that you are so wrong about so many things, or that your logic would lead you to so many mistaken conclusions. Writers, directors, and actors have to start somewhere. I viewed this drama more as gaining experience to become better at their crafts. The drama was probably less than two hours long, so I was willing to invest that time. The main cast had visuals for sure, but only Ki Hee Hyun seemed natural, and perhaps Lee Han Gyul seemed more comfortable than the others because he was playing a singer.

The scene from episode 18 had me laughing so much.

The minute I read the article, I thought, "well this is asking for a firestorm in the comment section." The actress wanted to help and offered kind words and action. I suppose the world has always been like this, just the technology enables things to spiral out of control much quicker. I wonder in how many places this scenario is playing out in other comment sections, forums, posts, workplace, school, and home. Thank goodness for feel good (or insert your favorite) dramas, ones that can help offer some solace and foster a sense of community during these troubled times.

The first part of your previous statement referenced anyone defending Russia. There also is evidence that many Russians, including soldiers, do not know what is going on. I mainly wanted to point out that things are not so black and white, and that being aggressive and using profanity does not seem like the best way to get your point across. At least to people that might be willing to listen.
I did not mean that there is something wrong with being passionate. MDL users can be very passionate, especially when it comes to people and things they love. I just wonder if there is a better and perhaps more respectful way to get your point across, especially since the purpose of the article was to shed light on a human helping other humans.

I think it would be nice if you were to separate Putin, Russia, and Russians when you make such inflammatory remarks. At its simplest, Russia is a tool used by Putin at the expense of most Russians. MDL users are very passionate, but I think this time is a bit too far.

Why do you seek to make such a stark divide when the world is far more messy and complicated than simply either/or? This site uses English the majority of the time, and I have come across more North American and European users, but have interacted with users from other countries as well. The site is also for fans of Asian dramas. I think it is a bit careless to assume that users only care about certain things, especially if it is at the expense of others. I am not saying there are not narrow minded people here, but they are definitely in the minority. The users I have come across and interacted with differ in many different ways. Most are really nice, and share their thoughts and feelings in an often passionate manner. This can lead to friction from time to time, but at the end of the day, most people are just good people here. I think you really have most of the users here wrong.

I think we live in a world where we are forced by many circumstances to put a value on everything. I think it can be disconcerting to feel that some people's lives are considered more valuable, but how is that something shocking, and how does that have any relevance to the article itself.

There were many reasons for the collapse of Greece's economy, not just being hampered by the EU's fiscal policies in how it relates to the ability for a country to take its own measures towards recovery. In the US there has been over 500 million shots with around 13000 deaths that have been reported via VAERS (vaccine adverse event reporting system). That is only 0.0026%. That is only two of the issues I have found just by casually reading and doing research. I am sure you can find research to support and counter, and I encourage you to keep looking for the facts to find the truth. Do not be surprised if it differs from what you previously thought.
I am not saying you are 100% wrong. I do think that it is time for people to put down their weapons. That is a glimmer of hope even if we can agree on nothing else.

I actually have taken the time to read some of them, but I question if you have. Most of the ones from above I have read point to rare cases of adverse reactions to the vaccine and that the benefits of the vaccine far outweigh the risks. That is the case with most things in life. At the end of the day we are urged to get the vaccine to save lives, but also told to speak with our doctors first. Be truly informed, speak with your care specialist, and make your decision. I do think a bit of compromise (can differ for each person) might be necessary to live at peace with others too.

Yes, you sound very mad. I can tell your mood by your words. It is obvious to most people. For someone who mentions freedom of expression, you sure seem to find issue with other people's expression.

I truly shudder to think because some of the comments here are terrible on something that should be at the very least, praised for good intentions. MDL is an Asian drama loving site, so my rationale is that if there are discussions that are happening, and there is not the common thread of support for someone's good intentions, they must devolve quickly into opposing sides that have little respect toward one another and even less interest in compromise or seeing other points of view. I figured I would be questioned about that so I visited various sites, and posed questions to those I know. And yes, some responses left me shuddering. I think that is just common sense.

Not everyone is entitled to their opinion. That is just a statement that tries to avoid discussion about the opinion itself. An opinion is not a sword used to attack others with, or a shield to hide behind to preserve your point of view. You are entitled to an informed opinion, and one that should stand up to logic and be discarded if false.

The main reason why I keep having a conversation with you is because you at least have shown you are willing to do some thinking or at least accept that some of your statements are problematic when shown evidence of such. I am not saying you are wrong about everything, but your message is really lost behind all the other stuff you say. Focused message, informed opinion, and positive thinking are really some of the best ways for you share your thoughts and to hopefully get results that are satisfactory. You do not and neither do I. Again, absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. Because someone does not say something, that does not mean they do not feel it. I think that is fair. I also think there is some good in censorship. What about censorship for protecting children, controlling pornography, keeping personal information secure, and removing acts of defamation?
