The magic scenes are fascinating, the musicals are enticing and some other things are motivating, but when you…
I kinda agree, the first half of the show is kinda random and the story unfolds in patches. But the plot makes a lot more sense in the second half as more things are revealed
The show is good, I loved the sibling dynamic in the earlier episodes. In fact I even like the drama with the boys’ asshole parents. However the romance is just not it for me and I felt uncomfortable. Couldn’t continue because of the romance so I dropped at ep 28. I really tried.
Yeah, stopped taking this article seriously when they had to nerve to recommend a show that uses Brownface. Thanks…
Well pal u in for a ride becos colourism is rampant in Thai dramas, even if it’s not brownface. Also v ironic thai dramas use brown face when there are millions of people with dark skin tone if they wanted someone with dark skin tone for the role… although that in itself sounds racist. a few years ago there was a dinner time drama (usually watched by families) that was pretty popular that had brownface and it was because the female lead was pretending to be a maid 🥴🥴. Totally adding to the stereotype that Thai people with dark skin are usually poor. Infuriates me when I see this as a Thai who does not have fair skin. Sorry for the rant
Honestly I read comments here as the drama was airing to see how people felt about it. It didn’t have super positive comments so I was really hesitant to watch the drama. I guess this show is better viewed in one sitting? It was a decent drama to me. The characters are likeable and the plot has pretty good pacing. You kinda know what’s gonna happen but it still makes you feel good. There are some sad parts but it’s mostly a feel-good show.
I watched this in one sitting. It’s a cute friends to lovers drama. Felt almost like a long movie. Nothing new to the genre but I always love me a good friends to lovers drama. What’s with park hyung sik and his recent dabble with friends to lovers plot? Not that I’m complaining though, i love him in these sorts of setting. And congrats to han so hee for finally playing a character in a healthy loving relationship.
I find the female lead kinda annoying. I get she’s in a novel but she has no boundaries and is frankly a nuisance. If she were a guy she’d be in jail by now. (Peeking at male lead while he showers??? Saying that she couldn’t help but looks cos he’s too attractive??? Running into men’s sauna????) tbh at this point idk what is attractive about the female lead
Y’all are kinda right I’m on ep 4 and I find neither of the leads likeable… well especially the male lead…
Dropped at episode 6. Honestly I kinda came here with the wrong viewing lenses. I came here expecting a high school romance or 10 year friendship turn lovers kind of drama. But weLL this drama was anything but. HOWEver, even if a drama were to turn out differently from what I expected, I would have been able to enjoy the drama if at least had a decent plot or decent characters. But of course I saw none of that here
Female lead is a doormat to like the same guy for 10 years. I mean… he was literally not even present in her life in those years so I have no idea how she’s still pining for the same guy she liked since high school when she’s 30… best part is the guy didn’t even like her lmao (or maybe he did but he clearly rejected her so…). And when he’s unexpectedly back in her life she lets him walk over her. Miss girl at least have some pride SMH. Also the guy… I never thought Ong Seungwoo was ugly but all thanks to the trash that is Lee Soo I really found the male lead ugly in this one. He has commitment issue or issues with relationship because his parents got divorced… I get that but that would have been great if he wasn’t such an asshole to OTHERS about it. Why he making his problem everyone else’s problem?? This drama was the best example of “does he like me or am I just confused?”. If anyone makes you feel this way for TEN YEARS maybe it’s time you move on. But oh well if they do end up together they deserve each other. Because other than being a push over and an asshole, they are both very blring individuals. The only thing they have going for them is a cool job. Even my mundane life as a kboo kdrama addict seems more interesting than theirs.
The female leads friends seem to have more interesting plots going for them tbh.
Best part I like about this show was that the perpetrators are not psychotic murderers. Too many times I enjoy a good mystery drama and the perpetrators are always conveniently revealed to be psychotic killers who killed animals as a child.
Ok, i was really enjoying this until I encountered a pet peeve. (See Spoiler tag below) But I will continue since…
My number one pet peeve for murder mysteries is that the culprit behind the murder turns out to be a psychopath who killed cats as a child… in fact I was just talking to a friend about this pet peeve before I even considered watching this drama. Sigh… this is the reason why I hate murder mysteries, it’s just so convenient to have some psycho be the perpetrator. Well I will continue watching because at least this is a TIME TRAVELLING psycho murderer
Ok, i was really enjoying this until I encountered a pet peeve. (See Spoiler tag below) But I will continue since I’m almost at the end and the build up to the mystery has been decent so far
Edit: the pet peeve I was worried about didn’t happen!!! Yay I’m satisfied with the way the mystery unfolded. Finally finished the show and I wish I could see more
Nice cast but I’m kind of sick of law dramas and psycho criminals… hopefully this one brings something new to the table. Civil disputes not involving the same template psycho criminals would be great tbh
