Kiss at ep 6 love confession at ep 9… I mean it’s not too fast by kdrama standards but at I missing out something? 😅 when did they fall in love with each other?? Was it when she accidentally fell that one time and he caught her? I know they have a “connection” with each other because she sees him for what he is and he appreciates that. But love? Bruhh it’s been like 30 days, I’ve worked on a school project longer than that.
It’s the kinda of romance development I’m not a fan of… finding it hard to continue
I don’t think so… hee do is alive right now. We know baek yi jin is also alive in 2009. No reason for them to die tbh. But maybe they won’t be together?
I find it ironic how people cursed and said so many nasty things about Shin Jaekyung (Heedo's mom) for doing the…
Because the show made viewers sympathetic towards baek yi jin. We know of his circumstances. Meanwhile the show didn’t really explain why hee do’s mom act in a certain way. In fact in the beginning the show made viewers sympathetic towards hee do, and hee do had some grudges towards her mum, making viewers feel the same way. It’s all about framing and perspective. Once they started to explain jaekyung’s circumstances, viewers, along with hee do, started to understand her.
I don’t think it’s a male vs female character thing? It’s just the way the story is told and how a character is framed.
It’s also about love I’m the late 90’s and early 2000s so I think the 9/11 theory is a possibility since…
Wait 9/11 as in the plane crash into the World Trade Center? I didn’t even consider that since it didn’t happen in Korea. Is that why ppl think he will die? It did have international implications but i don’t remember it having a big impact on most individuals at least in SEA/ east Asia. Except for maybe the islamophobia of course. Wow but if BYJ suffers because of the IMF and dies because of 9/11 that’s really too grim I guess…
Idk if it’s because I only started the show last week or if I’m missing something but why do so many people in this comment section think that yi jin might die? I get that some people don’t think they will end up together but I’m kind of lost about why yi jin would be dead? This is a coming of age drama about working through hardships with your loved ones, wouldn’t a death ending be too grim?
He did look worn out .. like he aged a few years . But i think that was because he tried to distance himself from…
I think didn’t push it w the department head because he knows he can’t. He already tried and the department head clearly isn’t willing to help him switch sport. I’m sure he also fears losing his job considering he was offered a full time role not too long ago

Wouldn’t be surprising if he’s depressed tbh. He’s been through quite a lot and had to grow up a lot faster than he would’ve expected. He looked particularly worn out this episode though. In other episodes he does seem to be coping better with his new life
Nothing much to say about this drama since I usually don’t have much to say about dramas that I enjoyed….
12 ep was a good length. A bit slow in the beginning as the first two episodes set the background for the show, but the rest of the show’s pacing is pretty good. Although I really do want to know the immediate aftermath of the lockdown.
This is not a thriller action zombie drama so don’t go into this expecting heroic bravado or zombie smashing fight scenes. I quite like that it’s a bit different in this aspect compared to other Korean zombie dramas out there. I guess it at least introduced something new to the k-zombie genre.
As with every apocalyptic survival drama, there are loads of annoying selfish people in this show.
I think the romance was fine, it didn’t take away from the whole drama and fits the plot pretty well. The couple is cute even if their romance wasn’t the main focus of the show.
I see people saying if it turns out Hee Do and Yi Jin aren't married in the end it defeats the purpose of the…
I agree, there’s a lot of emphasis on “enjoying the moment” in this drama. It has also taken quite a realistic route, and realistically speaking, couples who date in their late teens/early twenties usually don’t end up getting married. I honestly don’t care if they don’t end up together as long as the show has some good justification for it.
Tbh the show is full of cliches (esp ep 7) but I haven’t seen this in kdrama in a while and I’m enjoying it lol. Think they made a great decision to make this a short cute 12 ep drama
