I’m still in early stages but kind of agree. I feel like after the fl got mad at ml because he didn’t tell her who he was, she turned into a really unlikable character for me. I keep hoping she’ll turn back into her cute, carefree self, but it’s not happening.

Seriously, I'm so mad. How can the writers make the lawyer this dumb? She goes into court, and she doesn't even know that her client didn't meet the rapist at the club where she supposedly met him? There's video of the club to prove it. How could any lawyer be THAT unprepared???

Started watching. Within 10 minutes or so lawyer goes into court with client, and gets blindsided because her client was lying to her. Fuck it. I can't with this shit.

I was really enjoying this up until about episode 18 and then something happened it really made me start hating it.

ok, I thought the other poster’s point was that Chinese audiences didn’t like depictions of violence against children. I didn’t realize it had to be done by the ml for it to be unacceptable. tbh, I was pretty shocked when I first saw the opening scene of Princess Agents, and the book is even worse. I guess I don’t count though because I’m not Chinese. i’ve seen tons of cdramas with violence, but not quite compared to what I saw in Princess Agents. besides the hunting and killing of the children, there was also a child r*pe, child slavery, child beating/torture. It was really something above and beyond.

In Princess Agents, there are literally guys hunting children with bow and arrows, AND tigers! The children are being savaged by tigers and shot by arrows until dead. If a Chinese audience can handle that, I think they could handle almost anything.

Ending is a dealbreaker for me. it totally pissed me off. It’s funny, I thought ZY was worse in this than in other things I’ve seen her in. but I was a huge Word of Honor fan, so maybe I’m prejudiced.

i like zhou ye and love wxy so I thought I’d check this out. I can’t believe all the 9/10 reviews for this clunker. The ending alone is enough to make me hate it with a burning passion. And oddly, even though I usually like zy, I don’t think she really worked in this redeemed villainess role. However, I am apparently in the minority.

I can’t find a single drama with Cheng Yi as the ML that doesn’t have a sad ending. i don’t like sad endings in drama. I have real life for that.

Her character is dumb and annoying.

um, if immortals can die, doesn’t that mean they’re not really immortal? also, I think I’m finished trying to watch anything with Bai Lu in it. She’s gorgeous, but she’s a terrible actress. Just my opinion!
