If you mean his background, then yes. I've read a comment at the start of the drama, that he grew up from a rich family but they were framed and were killed. And in the novel, they kept dropping a lot of hints implying he didnt have a commoner's education or childhood. But it seems for now (drama and the novel chapters ive read so far) he has no plans to get revenge. Either he doesnt know what happened then or he has let it go. In the novel, he plans to establish a stable life once he gets enough funds from being a salt smuggler. Until FL, of course.
