I guess he wasnt expecting they would still follow her because of disfigured face?

I guess he's really hurt and disappointed. He felt that they completely love and trust each other. QX not telling him about that secret path is like not exposing her weakness to WS, meaning she still doesn't trust him. Not to mention that it concerns the safety of the different states.would be completely honest to each other.
It's like going back 10 steps back.

Also i think, WS never really thought he might not see her again. He left her in Wei, and she should be fairly safe there. He wouldnt have expected her to be an actual danger and that he might not see her again. (per previews)

And when QX learned that he was going to split his forces to protect her country, she really learned she made a mistake. She tried to tell him she's sorry by saying she'll go to Boya for reinforcement. But he didnt acknowledge it.

I do sort sort of liked this happened? QX is shown as very clever and kind, but to have made this error makes her more human and relatable. Also, i think this would make their relationship much stronger in the end. So I'm hoping for a repeat wedding night? 😁
But we'll most probably just see curtains closing or something like that 😑

What i really dont like about this is it seems theyre repeating history, not offering the help they have promised. But i think BZ wouls decide to help. He seems to be unaware of the situations, it's possible his wife didnt tell him.

And i can't help but compare this night to the ceremony a yr ago. It was so scary, you think you're gonna get killed anytime. But their (supposedly) wedding night was very sweet.

It hurts that he wouldnt look at her when he was leaving. And when he finally did, she was beating the drums, still trying to say she supports him.

I was watching one of the edits that was shared, and heard QX saying WS was the best Wei leader and i was reminded of WIFTY's su zaizai's complete faith on her ML too (he will always have that extra 1pt reserved for him).
