Though tbh, NH from original script really seemed a jerk compared to NH of new/current script.

JYC was really shooked when his mansion got raided. Then the emperor didnt follow their plan and then mudan also has volunteered to the cause. He knows her and knows she really could die and who wants that for the person they love.
And his flower envoy persona is being exposed.
I understand this has to happen plotwise.
It's still frustrating though.
I hope he has or will prepare properly when they catch him.

Also i made a list of what i wanted to see with S2, and I'm really sad that Mudan's father though loves her, still believes it's better for her to get married. Maybe he should talk to the head of the flower assoc. Hm.

And the way he was holding mudan, esp while threatening pei guy 😭
