Whenever I think about this show, Hush Now My Love keeps playing in my head with Lu Feng and Yi Chen's soft moments, with a strong sadness thinking how the tragedy of their love could've been totally avoidable if they had supportive families 💔

A lot of good shows have bad ratings and bad shows have good ratings on MDL, it's losing its credibility.

I already watched the first three episodes with great difficulty because I can't tolerate seeing literally everyone humiliate Lu Xiao Fan and him being a doormat. Now, everyone in comment section is saying episode 4 is even worse in this regard, with even Luqing ignoring him. Maybe I'll wait for things to get better before I resume watching it again.

You're so right, Lu Feng has that obsessed possessiveness, he gets really scary when Yi Chen does something that he doesn't like or when things about their relationship don't go according to his way. But Big Jane, even though him being a demon is just a metaphor, he has that evil aura around him, you can feel the dark energy around him. I love how we have so many dark bls with complicated characters to discuss about

Yi Chen was drugged, kidnapped, humiliated, raped multiple times, and physically and mentally abused. Shu Lang was also kind of made to live with Fan Xiao against his will and was sexually assaulted by him, but the physical aspect of it wasn't as severe as what Yi Chen went through.But you're so right. Yi Chen got enough love throughout his life - the love of his parents, brother, and brother-in-law. Lu Feng loved him to death too. He never manipulated him, he only became overly aggressive whenever things weren't going his way. Well, Yi Chen put Lu Feng through a lot of mental trauma too, by constantly abandoning him, so Lu Feng's frustration is understandable. Shu Lang had no one. On top of that, Fan Xiao manipulated him like crazy.So, in terms of mental abuse, Shu Lang went through more, but in terms of physical abuse, Yi Chen did. Still, overall, when combining both, I think Shu Lang had it worse, you're right. He had no one, and he was completely broken. :(
