I honestly loved it, I don't see any flaws big enough to distract me from enjoying the story. Or maybe the good things outweigh the bad things for me so I choose to focus on the greater good. The only distracting flaw for me is Yi Chen's torn clothes when he was held captive in Lu Feng's house 😭

I've said this in a reply earlier - no piece of artistic media can be objectively good or bad. Even with the worst works, someone can find reasons why they're good because they make sense to them. Likewise, even with the best works, someone can find reasons why they're bad because they don't make sense to them.

People might see flaws in something I loved deeply and similarly I am sure I might also find flaws in something they loved deeply, so others disliking or hating my favorite things doesn't bother me anymore, trust me, it took a lot for me to reach this point, it used to upset me so much initially with some of my other favorite things 😭

Lu Feng is in an entirely different league of toxic, no one's as crazy as him. See how Big Jane gracefully left Little Jane alone when he realized he became too toxic to his lover? Lu Feng could never, he'd rather kill Yi Chen and himself than leave him alone 😭

Can I ask you something? For someone who absolutely hates this show to the core and has dropped it, you lurk around here way too much, replying to almost everyone who loves this show. Is there any specific reason for it? Personally, I don't waste my time and energy engaging with things I hate this much. I only frequent spaces for shows, movies, books, and other media that I love so I don't understand this behavior.

Not everything in the world is related to Revenged Love, I'm so goddamn tired of that fandom. It was a good show, I loved it but now it's time to move on. How long will that fandom keep terrorizing every other bl show and ship that came after it? 😭

It's a really good show, I'm loving it so far. It's a dark romance with a black flag main lead, there are a couple of sexual assault scenes including an attempted rape scene, so if that's something that triggers you, it's better to avoid it.

He's scary, the actor is doing a great job! I can feel Little Jane's fear right through the screen 😭

I recommend To My Shore and Don't Be Too Emotional (ongoing, 6 episodes released so far). They're both so good and have the exact same dark, toxic trope as Double Helix. Bittersweet Love is also toxic, but I had to drop it after 3 episodes because the main character is way too much of a doormat and a pushover. It's basically a master-slave trope, and I didn't like it.
