No! It does not have a sad ending! The start is hard to get into as it goes back and forth and I didn't know what was happening. On rewatch it all makes sense and I understand it so much more. I have watched L&P at least once or twice a year since it first came out. Look at my profile page and you will see my love of L&P 😂

The reason I was shocked it went down is because most viewers have been positive.

In the first 14 episodes, she played a woman conforming to what she felt she needed to be to marry the man she loved. She is perfectly synchronized with him. It is also a period of suspense. Lusi did her makeup according the scenes. I was completely captivated. She lost weight, but she is still quite beautiful. It seemed to me her makeup changed after ep 6 which was the wedding but that could just be me.

This is what I am wondering.

Based on the data reports, it should be higher than 8.4. Much higher. I was never once bored watching this. In fact, I kept rewatching the episodes for deeper understanding. I loved the dialogue and parallels.

I thought the reason it dropped so much was because of the ending. People dropped it once they heard. I am one to avoid sad endings but I don't regret watching because I loved them so much.

She does it all so well. She is certainly a versatile actress.
