Qin Tianyu caught my attention in FH. I hope to see more of him.
I started FH this weekend and had to stop at ep31 because it was 4:30 am. I could hardy wake up this morning. I will be finishing it when I get home. 10/10 for me too.
I started LITC, but I decided to wait until more episodes were out. I will get back to it right after FH. I love the leads in LITC. Neo is also a wonderful singer. He sings at least one OST for his dramas. Well, the ones I have seen. He performed at his birthday concert recently. I love listening to him sing "Exclusive Angel."

Episode 27..this is so intense and now I can't sleep. Fated Hearts has me hooked and on the edge of my seat. Fight scenes are amazing. CZY has such sensuous eyes when he want to.

Bai Jing Ting is an incredible actor. He acts with his eyes. Don't expect anything spectacular for Sang Zhi in TFF. It was obvious they kept her character as bland as they could to fade her into the background.

I felt the same as he went on the defensive. As I rewatched, he seemed to falter a bit when he watched her crying. I thought it would be sad after that but watching her at the auction fixed it 😂

I feel Xia Jingshi is a tragic character. I am on ep 21 now and there is a part of me that feels sad for what I see in his life. I have to say, at least he was honest with his wife and never led her to believe he loved her.

I rewatched it right away also. I am trying to move away from it as I have a speech to write. I need to get Love's Ambition out of my head. (There is another drama of 2025 that I consider a masterpiece, and that is TFF. You can read my review. I wasn't expecting to love it the way did as the actress is not one I have enjoyed watching in the past. But Bai Jing Ting never disappoints).

He got me for a few mins with his hurtful words in ep 14, but there were too many signs in the previous episodes that showed me he cared for Xu Yan. I knew there was more going on with him that was revealed in the first part of LA. The drama revealed more of Xu Yan's life than it did Haoming but there was enough to show he was not evil. On rewatch of ep 2, I noticed he told the nurse to be gentle with Xu Yan and considering Xu Yan wasn't even conscious at that time, he was not pretending. He was captivated by her intelligence, resilience, and beauty which parallels his fascination with the Agave plant which he admired for its resilience.

When I noticed the other couple's clothes never changed from Plan A to Plan C and that it all happened within the same space in time, I realized Barbie and Ken were not there just for comical relief. It is too bad that was all some saw so they felt it was not in keeping with the first part of the drama. Now I might be way off but it seems to me the parodies align with the lead's relationships. Love's Ambition is full of parallels and symbolism. For viewers to appreciate the art that went into its creation, they would need to watch more than on a surface level.

And when you remember the scene in her childhood when her parents didn't get a bandaid for her because her sister fell at that moment...Haoming made her feel loved 💗

I think those who didn't see the purpose of the parody were either entertained or turned off. I am an international viewer and I thought the parallels with Barbie and Ken to Edward and Bella were creative. I know you mentioned they represented the world powers but what I saw were the relationshop connections. I felt as if the director used it as a marker between the first arc and the second arc showing the perfectly synchronized relationship through Barbie and Ken then showing the reality that they were more like Edward and Bella whose relationship started with a secret and moved into one that was more balanced and equal. Every episdoe in Love's Ambition was significant. I was totally captivated. The only thing is when I rewatch, I skip the second couple.

I know I have said this several times but I don't understand the 8.5 here. Usually a hit drama goes up at the end.

I didn't find any of Love's Ambition boring. And the only reason I checked the time left for each episode as I was watching is that I was always shocked when the episodes ended because I was that captivated.

I was wondering if it it ended. Keeping posting the averages. I wonder how much it will go up to in the next few weeks!
