It depends on how you view it. It makes sense if you can see the connections with the recurring themes. It is an amazing production from the acting, OST, and just everything. I rewatch just so I watch the expressions and listen carefully to the dialogue. It is a masterpiece. It is outstanding.

I think the reason is that Xu Yan's biological parents never showed her the love and care Haoming showed Hoachen. It says something that she ends up with a man who can love a child who is not his biological child.

I loved that when Xu Yan apologized to the parents for lying, they didn't attack her. They were just so disappointed and the dad was concerned about the company but he said he wouldn't interfere with their personal relationship. He just asked her to be careful about not affecting the business. I read some comments where people didn't think she should apologize but I was happy she did. She owned up to it with grace and she got so emotional when she looked at her mother in law. They had bonded.

I loved the scene where he found in at her grandmother's place and saw her sincerity visually displayed. It was so sad she was going to put the divorce right next to that beautiful wedding photo.

Wow! I want to see how it compares with the other top Tencent dramas. I am baffled with the 8.5 on MDL. I know it downrated by certain groups but it should still go up. I haven't been able to move on. I keep hearing "Me and You." It could be because I listen to in the car and on my walks 😂
