I accidentally stayed up late while watching it yesterday, and I have panda eyes at work today. As an old lady,…
I love this " The male lead William Chan's temperament and acting skills perfectly created the image of a gentle and domineering president. He portrayed Shen Haoming's dark, shrewd and complex inner emotions very well, especially when he performed a hint of sincerity in the character's false calculations, which shows the multi-faceted nature of this character." Well said!
i mean he lets feng lei touch him bro eww they are almost kissing
He wasn't going to let her kiss him. Timing is everything to Haoming. I love that he always knows what is going to happen. He is always one step ahead. I had one eye closed though 😅
It was stressful for sure! I was so happy when that arc ended as I couldn't take it anymore😂
You are getting close as your post said you were on ep 10. I hope you enjoy the rest of it. There is comedy but it serves a deeper purpose than some realized.
the series was great but i cant be the only one who thought they put too many things in the last few episodes...…
When Xu Yan resigned her job as anchor, she set out to prove to herself that she could succeed on her own. The direction of the lead’s relationship headed toward one that is more balanced and equal. The parody with the Twilight romance in ep 19 was the prelude. And so the focus on the last few episodes led to seeing the couple sign a contract to collaborate on deal. It was the perfect conclusion to show relationship growth, but I would have loved one more episode with all the family and perhaps a baby.
If you like this drama, consider rating each episode.
I need to catch up the last 4 episodes but I want to write a comment one each. I have to rewatch a bit as I watched them in the early hours of the morning and do not want to get the episodes mixed up.
I am surprised to see a few comments about the later episodes not being as good as the start. Episode 28 is one that had such beautiful poetry! I want to watch it slowly and take in every single word. The dialogue between Xu Yan and Haoming here explains their actions in the first part. It illuminates and connects the themes. It was all so beautifully done💗

If it bothers some to watch Love's Ambition because they are affected by the presence of a guest actor, then it should be their personal thing. It is in poor taste for them to come into this forum to voice their personal choice not to watch this. Either that or it is deliberate.
I intentionally waited for this series to be complete before leaving my comment, and now that I have binge watched…
I laughed out at that scene when she insulted his hair because of the times he slicks it the side without the flip in the front😂 I don't understand the hate Haoming got from some viewers. Of course ep 14 was a tough watch but I didn't forget the way he treated her with care before that. And he was in no way a villian. I loved them both.
Wasn't it so good? I didn't want it to end, either. Would have loved to have seen ChenChen again, and Grandma…
I wanted the both Xu Yan and Haoming's family together with Haoming's family showing how much they loved Xu Yan.
I am going to watch Love in the Clouds and Fated Hearts. It will take me a while to move on from Love's Ambition as with all the dramas I find myself obsessed.
I don't really like Xu Yan's sister. I think the production did her dirty. She didn't have much personality and…
When it ended, I felt we never saw both Xu Yan and her sister with the parents in their adult age. There should have been some acknowledgement of their bias from both the parents and Xu Yan's sister. But I think the drama wasn't focused on that. I am going to watch 27 to 32 again when I have time today.
I was hoping Xu Yan's family and Haoming's family would gather around and have dinner together 🥺
Me too! I wanted to see Xu Yan show the Shen's how much she loved her grandma for raising her while her parents looked on with heads down at some point. But we got to see grandma. Love's Ambition isn't about revenge. It is more about how we get to where we are through the decisions we make. It is one of the themes.
