I might rewatch SOKP. I liked ZLH in it but it is in TPR where I really came to love him more. It is too bad the screenwriter did not include more of who PWX was from the novel. I didn't read the novel but I read comments from novel readers about some parts of his story that was not included. However, ZLH managed to portray the essence of PWX even if there were just glimpses of him in character as the prime minister or of a man with a purpose in business. There are some new dramas coming out soon. We will have to wait a while for ZLH though, but we can always rewatch our favorites.

The Double is one of the dramas I enjoyed immensely. I am hoping to see WXY in a more romantic drama but even so, his charisma in The Double is something special 🔥 He is younger than the actress but he has a presence that somehow makes it work.
As for the comment you saw about me, I have already seen it and had a good laugh. It was so funny! I have never even spoken to that person and don't even remember seeing his name. But he obviously saw me 😂 I know my "PR" of LR and PWX is somewhat annoying to some especially as it goes against what they are saying but I had this need to inject some positive thoughts for TPR which has made me smile and so eager to see the next episode. This does not mean I do not understand that we all have differences. I just wish there had been more of a balance. Thank you for reaching out💗

Oh my! It was so good for me. I loved it so much. It is a love at first sight trope and some might find it boring but many loved it. It is on Netlfix. It also has sports and Jin Mai's character is a professional 9 ball player. And the ML who is Wu Lei is also a snooker player. WXY from The Double is in it and it is the first time I have ever wanted to see the secondary couple. Try it. Not much angst. When you watch it let me know because the director left some hints along they way that you need to use some imagination.
If you want angst, try LYF2, but you have to watch S1 first to continue S2.
I haven't been able to watch anything else either. I watched ABAY while waiting for the episodes for TPR but then I started fast forwarding and put it on hold. Even now I feel I rather watch SOKP again. I tried LYF season 1 and cannot get into it either but I hear it is really good.

I saw glimpses of PWX the "prime minister." There were several times he was at his desk and he looked like he had a mission. I don't know if I missed something but I had been waiting to see what plan he told his assistant to get started. Somehow ZLH captured certain aspects of PWX's character with the changes of expressions. He could go from playful to commanding and there was always a sense that he was highly intelligent. I loved his character but I can understand your frustration if you had certain expectations. As for the director/producer situation, I had no clue while watching. I stopped reading some of the comments about SRQ at one point and I have no clue where the information came from. I focused on the characters I loved and watched the others with one eye. I loved watching PWX and LR. Waiting for the bonus ep. It might just be 5 mins but better than nothing.

He was cringe even before. The Consort and both her kids were inferior to LR and LC. The emperor recognized LR as being smart but yet ....This part made no sense. There was more focus on them in the last 5 episodes to wrap it up but I didn't care to see it in detail.

Are you saying they did not include his political plots from the novel or they filmed it then cut it out? I heard PWX say something to his assistant about starting their plan, but I didn't see any follow up on that. I was curious to see what plan he had going.
