Yes. I was going to try to watch the last 5 eps again but I think I really only needed the last episode. As soon as Netflix releases all, I am going to do a full rewatch and enjoy. Because of this drama I love Zhang Ling He even more!

I almost hit the fast forward button with the emperor and his second kids. They should have wrapped that up faster. But I still loved PeiRong and just coped with it. I was so disappointed there was no wedding or kids but thank goodness there is the bonus. These directors are always messing up the ending trying to beat the next director in the creative department. But as I said, I am grateful for no open ending!

Look out for the bonus episode. It should be released soon. You will see the kids. I think that final episode was the director trying to be creative. At least we got an happy ending and not the dreaded open ending. I was a bit nervous about that so I felt quite forgiving we didn't get to see the grand wedding.

I loved ZLH so much more in this than in his previous dramas. I felt connected with this cp. Mai Mai and ZLH were great together. I feel I can't move on.
My favorite character was PWX. I loved ZLH's portrayal of man who is NOT a wimp but a strong character who happens to love his wife and refuses to let go this time around. As he said he will wait 10 years...20 years if she needed... This man marched toward his wife in the midst of swords pointed directly at him and when LR asked why he was there he replied:
"I am here to die with you. Or take you home. "

Pei Wen Xuan was Li Rong's rock. For all that she acted tough, she needed him. There were multiple times she asked him if he would be with her always. And he would always assure her he would.

Zhang Ling He's performance was amazing. He managed to capture different aspects of PWX and not one of them portrayed a man who was second to anyone in LR's heart. He did everything the best in her eyes. As LR told PWS, "....let me tell you, you do not need to compare yourself to anyone, let alone Su Rong Qing."
I loved PWX for supporting LR and knowing when to let her do her own thing or step in to help her make the right decisions. And I love how he loved her.
I am glad TPR has been #1 in China. It deserves it. The chemistry alone that these two leads have created made me love them. I enjoyed watching them. Congratulations to Zhang Ling He and Mai Mai for their excellent performances. I wish them well in their next endeavor.

However, I loved PeiRong and enjoyed this drama even if I also wanted more time for PeiRong in the final episode. I grew fond of the main leads and absolutely loved them together so it is a 10 for me. I was just really relieved it was not an open ending so I will take what it was. At least now we know there is a bonus episode with the kids.
I am seeing some positive comments coming in. I think that there are people who love it and just not posting here. I am waiting for the bonus and not sure if I should rewatch the last 5 episodes with better transalation now or wait till Netflix comes out with it. I am going to do a brain time purge so I can watch again. That means I will have to wait a few weeks to watch.
I have grown so fond of PeiRong. I loved them. Both ZLH and Jin Mai were great together.
It hasn't been confirmed but it looks like it is happening. I hope so. But I would also love to see ZLH with Lusi and Zhang Jing Yi. Sometimes teh cp doesn't work when I only like one of them. I loved Jin Mai with ZLH and I am so happy with the results.

First of all, I LOVE PEIRONG! I have grown fond of them and miss not seeing them apart from watching my favorite scenes.
