I regret being a part of that forum. It was the worse I have ever seen. I started avoiding it before watching the episodes, Then started avoiding all comments about SRQ and his screentime and any of the people I noticed who always have only negative things to say. There are always negative comments but in TPR it was unbelievable. Usually people who rate a drama 1 just drop and leave. But for some reason some stayed and kept beating up on LR or SRQ. I thought maybe I dozed off and didn't see SRQ because I hardly noticed him till the second half and then he gradually got more screen times as the drama neared to the revelation of who killed LR. What I don't understand is why is it that members failed to comment on anything else but SRQ?

It saddens me to see the reviews and comments calling PWX a simp and the sml. ZLH was amazing in his role and I could see the different aspects of PWX. He was LR's rock! He knew when to stand next to her whether she thought she needed him or not, and he knew when to step back and let her walk that road by herself. And then he simply loved her. He was perfect!

They were amazing! I am looking forward to seeing more of them. Jin Mai is one of my favorites because she never fails to convince me where the romance is concerned. And I have come to love ZLH in TPR more than I did after watching SOKP. Now I will have to rewatch SOKP.

Everyone should read your review! You kept up with the updates which I hope those who are turned off by the negative reviews will read. I would advice anyone to avoid the negative reviews until after watching. I am still appalled at the way members in the forum didn't even comment on some of the most beautiful scenes in the drama.I understand if they didn't connect with the couple but why the constant hatred toward SRQ and LR? PWX said the most beautiful words to LR and LR who was not expressive in her love, showed it in other ways. Every time she asked PWX if he will always be with her, I felt her fears and insecurities. I will rewatch once it comes out in Netflix or maybe I will wait till I have forgotten the feeling of mood killers from this drama.

Zhang Ling He was amazing in this . I feel bad for him because of the comments people are making about his character. He played the Prince Consort in such a way that he balanced power and romance. Pei Wen Xuan was my favorite character and it is unfortunate that the negativity took over in the forum and his performance was ignored. Jin Mai was incredible also . The scene with LR and LC had me crying and I wished she didn't tell LC what he did in the previous life. I loved the way PWX will stand by her side but at times he knows to step back. All characters were great. The actress for Consort Rou was strange though. LOL!

I watched it from a different perspective. I was convinced from earlier that LR loved PWX. I didn't notice SRQ till the second part and I knew nothing about any of the rumors with the producer or director giving him preference. I avoided reading a lot of the comments so I had no idea which was a good thing. I wish I had stayed out that forum for this one because the deluge of negativity was a mood killer. I enjoyed the couple. I really loved them .

I am not sure what I will watch. I am trying to get into LYF. Did you watch that? I have a few I am waiting to come out but I might wait till most episodes are out and avoid the forums. unless they are as nice as the one with AASOL!

I feel bad for ZLH. Instead of giving him credit for his performance, there are just too many calling him the SML. He played his part well and I loved him here.

I didn't know anything about the rumors while I was watching and I scrolled past many of the comments once I saw it was the usual SRQ haters. I watched the drama for the drama and enjoyed it. I only just now catching up with reading posts.

I didn't pay him much mind. Wasn't he quiet in the first part? I watched him for plot reasons.

My understanding from a family member who reads the Chinese social media pages, it is a hit. She said she saw positive comments.

I love TPR for the characters, the story, the acting, and the vibe of the drama. I am not thinking about screentime. Therefore, I loved it!

I have not kept up with the ins and out of making this drama. All I know is I enjoyed ZLH is this drama more than in any other drama.

Is there any romance in MLC?

Yes. Story of Kunning Palace also has a happy ending. Also Love and Redemption.

Oh I loved Blossom in Adversity. Did In Blossom come out just before BIA? I think I started it but forgot to go back. I was busy around that time.

Chen He Yi played SRQ really well. I didn't mind him at all in the first half until he started getting pushy. And even then it was just mild annoyance for me. But when he explained his reason for proposing at the end, I felt bad for him. He looked so all alone and LR didn't even go near him to help him. I am just glad it is a happy ending. I would have been upset if it was not. I have a distrust for directors.
