I accept that you and others have yours. What an amazing cp! It is the interactions between PWX and LR that makes this drama so sweet. But I know there is probably some tough parts to come where politics and war are concerned.

Without reading the novel, I can see her portrayal of Li Rong as a character who is after all the Princess Royal set in her ways and proud as anyone raised as a royalty would be but yet there is also kindness and the ability to love deeply. She is also a brilliant strategist. She is dealing with politics as well as her feelings for a husband I feel she has loved through all times.
Before reading ZLH explanation of his character, I already got that impression of PWX just by watching ZLH's performance. It is no wonder the director insisted on waiting for him to be available to film this drama. And I am so glad they chose Jin Mai.

Really? I loved ep 15 and 16. It was wonderful seeing LR stand up for PWX and it was sweet to see them together caring for each other. Today's episode went deeper into PWX's background and gave a better understanding of how alienated he must have felt in the Pei's household. I can understand how he must have felt being with LR at the beginning of their marriage before it all fell apart. And today also revealed a little more into their previous marriage to show they were at one time a loving and close couple where he did her makeup and her hair. And now I can understand how devastated she must have felt to lose him but too proud to say it thinking he loved QZZ.
I love this drama also. I just finished ep 14 and 15.
I skimmed through the novel and decided I liked the chemistry in the drama better. You might want to avoid the extra chapter on POV of PWX. I wish I had never read it as it spoils the mood of the drama. I will rewatch todays's episodes again. I like to go over the dialogue and with TOR, I find they are deep. The cuddly PWX today was so adorable. But you can see when he talks to his aid. he is much more mature and serious. He is wise beyond his present 20 years.

I think it is time for LR to fully commit her heart to PWX. I thought he was gone is enough to shake her up. Then they can work on their mission and whatever other obstacles thrown their way. It would not be rushed at this point.
