It takes time for our princess to trust him with her heart. Even though I feel PWX suffered more in their previous life, he is more open and willing to trust his heart to her. She loves him but it will take time. I think we will see a huge jump forward after tomorrow's episodes.

Going to have to watch this with my mother for a translation. I would love to know what they said. I regret not cooperating with my parents efforts to get us to speak Chinese at home! But who knew I would be so obsessed with Cdramas?

I will be surprised if the ratings do not go up for this drama. It is deep, multilayered while sweet and humorous at the same time. There are multiple recurring themes. I am captivated by the love between PWX and LR. LR comes off as contradictory but I sense she has only truly loved PWX in both lives regardless of her relationship with SRQ. Jin Mai's portrayal of the complex Princess Royal is amazing as we see the layers slowly being peeled away by the clingy PWX 💗

As for the drama itself, the juxtaposition between the previous and present umbrella scene was incredibly done. How we view it depends on perspective. I will get to that in another post as it probably needs to be under spoiler for those who have not seen today's episode.

He told her he loved her in ep 11. He told her he would support her in her decisions and be there for her in ep 12. She is not ready to trust her heart to him because of what happened before. She is proud. They are getting there. PWX has already won my heart since way back when... 😂

PWX is melting her heart with his clingy ways. Love it! And I agree. Regardless of the fact that she was close to SRQ in her previous life, I don't think she loved him. I think she cared about him but it was not the love she had for PWX back then. From the flashbacks, she looked devastated when PWX walked away from her. And both PWX and LR felt pain thinking one killed the other. Misunderstandings and lack of communication led to their tragic end, but now they are working one it. I loved when PWX said he didn't want to let bot anymore. I will watch again after I have some breakfast.

She is not ignoring the fact that SRQ killed her. She has to play dumb in order to get to the root of it.
Yes. She is proud. She is the Princess Royal. But there is also kindness. I love the way she stepped back as princess when meeting with PWX's mother and showed her filial piety due to being an elder. She even kneeled to PWX's mother and put her at ease by giving her permission to call her by name.

I love this drama also. I just finished ep 14 and 15.

And i am also wondering about the first guy she married. What happened on the wedding night? Was she forced? She seemed to have some kind of PTSD.

I feel really bad for PWX too 😂

It is tough watching the first two episodes again after seeing that PWX loves LR. I noticed the first time LR went to the see her father after going back in time, her first memory was when she saw PWX for their wedding. They both looked so happy to see each other and later LR told PWX that she wanted to be with him for rest of their lives. She also asked that they also be honest with each other.

From what we were shown, it was the misunderstanding aobut QZZ that led to their problems. PWX looked so hurt that SRQ was living at the LR's house. It seems LR was so mad at PWX because she thought he loved QZZ. Could it be she deliberately kept SRQ by her side to get back at PWX in her past life? From the flashbacks, LR and PWX looked happy together before the misunderstanding over QZZ. And yes, the fact that she spent 20 years with SRQ by her side, means they developed a close relationship but to what extent in regards to the drama, I don't know. But what gets me is that after finding out that it was SRQ who poisoned her, she was not as mad as she was when she thought it was PWX. Now that they have cleared up the misunderstandings, their relationship is moving along but it is going to take time for her to trust him with her heart again. On the flip side, I feel so bad for PWX and how he must have felt when he was separated from LR. Oh well. Let's just watch and see.

I am not saying she didn't hurt him. PWX said they were both at fault. I just watched the part where he died and the look of hurt on his face when he realized she killed him. And then she also died crying because she thought he killed her. Well I am glad the drama cleared that up early. Let's just keep watching because I feel this is going to end up being one of those love stories where they realize they can only trust each other and all they want is to be with each other till the end. Unless the drama takes a turn, for now they are highlighting the relationship between PWX and LR as the love relationship that will transcend all time and obstacles. Pershaps this is why I don't see her loving SRQ.

At least this time they are communicating. It is going to take some time for her to trust him with her heart.

I think we just keep watching. I am only going by my perception. LR is more emotional with PWX. She trusts him with her life but at this point not with her heart. He must have hurt her I assume when they were separated. Otherwise, why would she be afraid to trust him with her heart. If she didn't love him in her previous, why would she be afraid to give him her heart now?

As for SRQ, I doubt she loves him this life. She said she pities him and is happy he is safe so she must care about him. But she said she is not in love with him which is my understanding of the subtitles which said "he doesn't make me uncomfortable..." I don't know what she had with him exactly in her previous life because the drama has been vague and until they give us more information, I am not going to assume there was anything more than a close friendship.

This has occurred to me also because I do not believe she is attracted to SRQ. Watching her with PWX, I doubt she even loved SRQ in her past life.

She is natural. I love that about her. She doesn't overact.

I just rewatched ep 13. It seems to me she loves to get PWX jealous but I am not sure about the part where SRQ was wrapping her hand with his handkerchief. I was surprised to see her looking so mesmerized and I wanted to watch again to see what was going on in her mind. What I feel from watching the drama is that she was hurt by PWX in her previous life and she doesn't trust her heart to him. She doesn't even like him saying he is going to have nothing to do with her and asked him to stop doing that for her dignity. Her character is complex and a part of that is who she is.
Was it PWX who proposed that the get married and divorce in 2 years or was it LR? I am going to watch again from the beginning. But through everything I have watched so far, I feel she loves PWX. She does contradict herself. In ep 12 her previous self asked if she was ready to give up SRQ and she answered that what she felt for him now is pity.
I wonder where I could find the interview with Jin Mai where she talked about her character's feelings for PWX and SRQ.

I have said the same. She is afraid of going through it again. I am not 100% sure what "it"" is but I assume she was devastated when they separated in her previous life and she is not ready to trust him with her heart. I am just scrolling by the comments that she still loves SRQ because I don't think she did before or now. It will all unfold and I don't know how she going to resist PWX for much longer especially as he is not holding back😂
