I am trying to watch another new drama. I love the FL and also like the ML but I cannot get into it. I have not found any new dramas since TPR captivating. I watched TPR while it was still airing and rewatched the episodes while waiting for the next, and so far, no new drama has come close the chemistry between Li Rong and PWX. I have some anticipated dramas on my list but no release date yet. What I have done since TPR was to rewatch old favorites such as Love Between Fairy and the Devil, Lighter & Princess, and Amidst a Snowstorm of Love.

I am so bored. I struggled with the first few episodes. I kept falling asleep. i am trying because I love watching WCR and like the ML as well from IKILY. But it is boring. I finally hit the fast forward button and made it to ep 18. I might have missed some details but just trying to see if it gets better. What I don't get is that if they are married, or she thinks they are married and even sleep in the same bed, it is strange that he has not once kissed her. I would think she would wonder about that.

Esther Yu makes me smile! And to think the first time I saw her was in Moonlight I wasn't sure if I liked her. I got used to her style and absolutely love her. This was so cute!

Will there be any romance?

It is always great when we love both leads. It is not always this happens. I hope there is some romance. Zhang Jing Yi is always great with chemistry.

I tried watching ABAY because I love Xu Kai. i have never liked Seven in romance because I find her awkward and unconvincing. I put it on hold and kept going back because of all the great comments about chemistry. I ended up dropping it. But love Wang Chu Ran and enjoy watching her. And at least I liked the ML in the one drama I watched him but not really feeling the chemistry here.

Thank you! If it wasn't that I really enjoy Wang Chu Ran and like the ML from I know I Love you, I would have dropped this a long time ago. But the comments have been so good so I kept wondering if I am too distracted and not getting into it. I really want to like it especially as it is taking so long for Wang Chu Ran's drama with Tan Jianci to come out. I am going to try a few more episodes.

There is a debate about slow vs. fast in AASOL. Some said it was fast because they got together early. Some said it was slow because of all the long gazes and looks they exchanged. It seemed like a slow build up, but they got together fast. The focus was on the falling in love emotions for the first 9 episodes I think.

Thank you for the details! I will keep watching as I enjoy watching Wang Chu Ran. I have only seen the ML in I Know I Love You and liked him there.

It is not exactly like FITYS. It starts out where the ML falls in love at first sight. It is all sweet and slow at the start. Some were bored but I loved it. It made me smile. The couple gets together fast not slow but the tempo feels slow. It's the vibe that has this slow longing feel to it. Then enters WXD as the big brother and I Ioved seeing him. There are competitions but they are all organized and no big drama as in FIYS. AASOL is a sweet cozy drama. I loved it. You can always try it.

I watched it this summer too. It is just a cozy drama that made me want to have coffee and cookies while I watched. Mostly sweet with a bit of conflict. And you have to watch it carefully because there are hints along the way that you have to pay attention to understand their relationship or how far they have gone😉

When does it pick up to where we feel the chemistry between the main couple? It really could be me because I have not been watching in the day as I usually do. It is late at night when watch and I think I missed something because I don't feel anything. And I don't even know who the woman who watches the FL is. And I am too bored with ep 1-4 to rewatch.

I didn't realize you had not seen it! I loved it because I felt connected right away and loved the chemistry but some found it slow. It has that warm wintery feeling of love at first sight! The competitions start after the couple gets together which is early.

I loved The Princess Royal! I am still trying to get into Are You the One because Wang Chu Ran is such a wonderful actress. I believe the comments but I can't seem to connect with this drama and I am up to ep 5 now.

It was a plus for me with Amidst a Snowstorm of Love.

I loved seeing a FL compete and win. I loved that she impressed the ML but she still had room to grow. He guided her.

I watched this a couple years ago and rewatched it several times. It is always entertaining and a pleasure to watch.

This is classic. His chemistry with Cheng Xiao was a delight to watch.
