Currently watching epi 9… looks interesting. Hopefully i can watch this until ending. Xu Kai looks too cute…
I also took a look at your list. You liked a lot of the dramas I liked. I noticed you do no have Lighter and Princess on your list. It is one of the shows I rewatch as I cannot move on from it. Love it!
I'm at episode 18 and still couldn't find it interesting! Rating is High probably because it was released on Netflix…
I found myself fast forwarding through the secondary couple . I really just wanted to see the main leads in WIFTY. Hidden Love is unique in that it focused more on the growth of the couple's relationship. We get the feel of Sang Zhi's family but only her brother is more developed. We saw the antagonists in HL, but not to the point that they took over the show. This is what made HL so unique. The OST is so beautiful. I have the music on my playlist. I loved that Lu Si and CZY seemed to have this playful relationship in some parts and in others you can feel the deep emotions. I love that they support each other. Have you seen Lighter and Princess? If not, I highly recommend it. It is more intense than these two dramas, but it is so beautiful. I find it hard to move everytime I watch it.
Most similar to this would be Lovely Us from the same director BUT Lovely Us doesnt have the adult life part so…
Now I want to start it! My friend told me it is so good she could not wait. There is a new Cdrama that is getting the same raving reviews. I am trying to wait. It is called Fake ItTill You Make It.

I understand that it all depends on what appeals to a person. This is why when someone new to Cdrama asks what they should watch after Hidden Love, I ask what they found appealing in Hidden Love.
Hidden Love and WIFTY both contrast the family relationships between FL and ML. In HL it is heartbreaking to see that Jiaxu's life growing up was the opposite of Sang Zhi's. While she grew up with a loving family, he grew up with the responsibilities of paying off his father's debts and taking care of both his mother and his father. In addition, what I found so wonderful about Jiaxu, is that even though he had to work hard during college to pay off his debts, he still managed to be kind and always had a smile on his face. It was beautiful to see Sang Zhi show Jiaxu that he deserved to be loved and that she would always be there to defend him. Just like in WIFTY, they needed each other. In HL the emotions were more developed. From what I read, Lu Si had a big part in working with her costars to come up with angles and to preplan scenes in a way that best portrays the themes. The chemistry between the leads in HL, reminds me of the chemistry between the leads in Lighter and Princess.
In every youth drama I have watched, they changed the look of the FL in college. In WIFTY, I was hoping to see the FL with a different look but they did not.
if you havent seen when i fly towards you thats probably the best recommendation otherwise there ishidden loveour…
I know. I wanted to see Xu Kai with one of the prettier and younger actors for As Beautiful As You. It is just my preference. I was just watching Xu Kai in Snow Eagle Lord and his face is just perfection!

I finally got into You Are Desire to the point I didn't go to sleep till late only to find out that the ending is a disappointment for many. I dropped it for now as I am only on ep 16. This is the longest I have taken to watch a show only to drop it.
I just started this drama and on ep 2. I am seeing some negative reviews. I am going to keep watching because I like Wuxia. and I love Xu Kai. The couple looks beautiful together. The costumes are so beautiful. Is this a happy ending? I do not mind spoiler.
Let me tell you , after they get into relationship, there are almost no butterfly moments for next a lot of episodes.…
This is so disappointing. I have been watching it on and off because I didn't want to be ahead of the last episode and then yesterday it got better when they got to college. Now to hear it did not have a satisfying ending.

I saw some but I am probably missing some. I watched all the Hidden Love BTS! I would love to see FIYS. I cannot tell you home many times I watched it.

As for Fireworks of My Heart...I think that is what you meant about the brother, I really do no think he loved her romantically. It was more that he was used to protecting her since she was adopted. Imagine living with the cold controlling mother. Psychologically it could not have been easy. He was against Song Yan because to him, anyone who goes against his mother gets hurt. There is even a scene where he asked his mother to stop controlling Xu Qin and his mother responded, "Are you sure you are not asking for yourself?" Not the exact words but something like that. Once he accepted that Song Yan would make her happy, he let go. He didn't seem like a bad guy to me and Xu Qin even told him she was glad she had him in her life.
I don't know why they keep saying censorhsip and some shows have great kinship. I think Bright Eyes in the Dark should be good with the FL from Lighter and Princess and Johnny Huang.
I wait till I am done to review. It goes the other way too. People left ratings of 1 on Hidden Love after one…
If they don't like a specific episode, leave a review on that episode. To be honest, I suspect the low rating for HL right at the beginning was about criticizing Lu Si. The review that was left by two people might have been the same person. They claimed they watched one episode and did not say anything about the plot itself.
