The trio poster looks cozy, but her solo poster is beautiful. Isn't it the main one? I thought this drama is gonna be character driven by the female lead which shows from that previous poster, but why is the poster suddenly changed with the addition of two male leads, making it look like a love triangle romcom? The plot really captured my interest and I hope they won't focus too much on the love triangle.
On Hello Monster Oct 4, 2023
Can't believe no one recommended "Strangers from Hell"?! It should be on the top recommended list. Both dramas are similar for having male psychopaths who are entangled with each other and influencing/manipulating their victims by using mind tricks to follow the same path as them.

I noticed Go Ahra got the best profile photo here in kisskh. Whoever added it picked a beautiful photo. It looks like it's from a magazine photoshoot than a normal profile photoshoot.

Title Pyramid Game
I love it when school dramas have young rookie cast for the student roles since they suit for it. I'm curious about "Pyramid Game", the concept sound cools, kinda like a dystopia at school.

On Duty after School: Part 1 Oct 1, 2023
I love that Duty After School has no specific main characters and it focuses on each students as a whole. The teenagers' emotions and growth are the point of this drama. It's not all about fighting aliens and the hero saves the day. The main characters of this drama are weak learning to be strong. Their reaction and behavior towards an unexpected crisis/alien invasion is realistic. While watching, I felt being in their situation and I could relate to them. Despite everyone's differences from personality, mindset, ability, their gradual bond and trust for each other is so heartwarming and admirable. I was rooting for them and I'm glad to see their teamwork and character development.

Just some points that other people missed or refused to understand:

— The main characters of this drama are HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS who suddenly have to do military training. They participated on it since it will give them extra points for their college entrance exams, but they were actually being deceived and used by the government as a tool for the real war. And it's not just a normal war, it's an ALIEN INVASION. They weren't informed about the true situation and they're being restricted from using their phones, making them unable to get news and communicate outside the school which adds to their ignorant behavior.

— That's why it's understandable if they're dumb (clueless) and made mistakes. They're still immature, whiny, reckless kids who treated their training as if it's a camping with fun and games, until they realized it's actually a serious situation. They were extremely scared and traumatized after their first encounter with the aliens and death of their teacher and classmate, and they just keep on witnessing more people dying and dead bodies everywhere while trying to escape. It's too much draining for them and they couldn't think straight. Their military training only started for 2-3 weeks and it's not gonna automatically make them strong physically and mentally. The students from another school that they found were already broken and not in the right mind after what they went through, but the main class remained sane and they still tried their best to get used of what they learned from their training while helping each other (but eventually someone exploded in part 2).

— Every one of them have the right to cry, complain and get angry all they want. They are literally just TEENAGERS who felt confused, wronged and hopeless. They are easily vulnerable and weak. They didn't know anything, about what to do and who to trust. That's why they were so desperate to see their family and go home because that's the only thing that can make them feel safe and comfort in times of chaos. They even made their own plan and united with the other classes to make a protest. But later, they realized they have no one but each other. They need to stay in the military in order to protect themselves and learn to fight, while being guided by their troop leader (who genuinely cares and takes responsibility for them, even sacrifices). The teenagers had no choice but to be forced to grow up fast and risked their lives.
On Beautiful World Oct 1, 2023
“You know what? If you’re brave enough to kill yourself, you can do anything. So you must live. You need to keep going. You are not a ghost. Those kids who trample down on you, just because you’re weaker... they are ghosts. Don’t give up. Don’t you ever give up.”

"Beautiful World" is indeed beautiful yet painful. A heartwrenching drama about bullying that caused a boy's life between death and shows the families' perspectives, how they deal with the pain and work to uncover the truth. There's a lot of frustrating parts, but the emotional and heartwarming parts really left a deep impression. Spread more kindness and never lose hope so you could build a beautiful world.

“Become a person who walks as he follows the stars. Become a person who produces hope. Those who walk along the barley field covered in spring snow... Run over to me and fill your heart with dreams. Fill you heart with dreams.”

Title Sweet Home
"Sweet Home" is one of my top favorite dramas. It's absolutely a magnificent and mind blowing masterpiece that made me feel like I was in their world. I really love how unique the monsters in this drama. Their forms and traits are different and varied depending on which human they came from, particularly rooted to their conditions and desires. Even though this is a gory horror, it feels refreshing and I was fascinated by it. It's so thrilling and emotional. Each different characters brought their own emotions and I was rooting for them. It's heartwarming to see how they've built their bond and grown together with their teamwork, surviving and finding new meaning in life. I can't wait anymore for Season 2 and 3. It would be interesting if they expand it to its own universe where they also show other new characters in different settings and more types of monsters during the apocalypse.
On The School Nurse Files Oct 1, 2023
"The School Nurse Files" is my #1 favorite kdrama ♡ Fantasy has always been my favorite genre and this drama is the perfect cup of tea for me. I love everything about this drama and the whole experience while watching it will always stay memorable to me. It felt like I was entering a new magical world with those various jellies and going on an adventure to discover more, as if being like Alice in Wonderland. The vibes, music and characters were strangely comforting and feels close to me. I couldn't get enough of the colorful oddness and deep mystery of this drama. It's so short and I hope they would make a season 2 for it.

PS. My favorite scene is the sparkly flying whale with the moon at school. It looks so beautiful and magical, it really mesmerized me. I love whales and they're special to me. Back in 2019, I had my most beautiful dream about seeing a flying whale above me while I was floating in the water.
On The Witch's Diner Oct 1, 2023
"The Witch's Diner" is one of my favorite dramas and I love the modern witch concept as a mysterious restaurant owner where she grants the wishes of human desires with a price to pay. The magical, classy, eerie vibes is captivating along with the stunning visuals and unique gourmets. It's short but sweet, with some twists and meaningful life lessons that touched me and made me tear up. This is a comfort drama for me.
On It's Okay to Be Sensitive Oct 1, 2023
"It's Okay to Be Sensitive" (2018-2020) is one of the best dramas ever and it deserves more recognition. It's so important, realistic and relevant. I hope a lot more people will watch it, it's easily accessible in YouTube. This is a webdrama that tackles about various social issues and sensitive topics, mainly focusing on the problems and discrimination women faces. It brings awareness and empowerment. I'm really grateful to this series.

Season 1 is set in college while Season 2 is at work place. I cried while watching Season 1 since it made me emotional and touched when the women are standing up for themselves and there's some men being understanding to them. Season 2 has a more lighthearted tone that shows more teamwork of the women and it also includes a man that breaks away from toxic masculinity.

Season 3 covers more dark, triggering, disturbing topics and it also shows the men's side. It made me cry so much especially to the shocking episode about the half siblings. I couldn't relate to their problem, but it's so painful and gave me deep reflection about life.
On Real:Time:Love Oct 1, 2023
I really love "Real:Time:Love". This is just a short webdrama but it gave me a big amount of happiness. Hongyun and Yechan are absolutely funny, cute and lively. They radiate so much good vibes. From adorable best friends to lovers, their chemistry is one of the best I've seen. Most of the time, it feels like the actors aren't acting. They feel so natural.

Season 1 is so hilarious along with the unique YouTube vlog format that includes candid moments, but Season 2 is my favorite since we got to see more of their relationship and how they've grown together in a proper format. I don't like Season 3 and 4 though because of how they were separated and the third wheels appeared which became so annoying to me. It's disappointing that I kinda lost my interest to the couple after they added unnecessary misunderstandings and drama to their relationship.
On To.Two Oct 1, 2023
Title To.Two
"To.Two" is one of my favorite webdramas. Webdramas are usually low budget, but this one feels like a movie quality. I love everything about this especially the vibes, the kind that I'm fascinated and makes me feel hypnotized. The chemistry and tension of the main leads is chilling yet captivating. Even though the female lead is creepy, the male lead also joined her and I love how they've become like partners in crime. The concept of the app is cool. It's interesting to see how it affects the students, their secrets being revealed and troubles arising. I wanted to see more of what they will do with it, especially with the appearance of the new app that seems to be taking over their school again. This drama is satisfying, but also disappointing since it's just short and it left with an open ending. I hope they will turn this into a full length drama, but I know that's impossible, so I hope they would come back with a season 2 instead.

Kinda random, but wow another Park Eunbin drama where "Whalien 52" by BTS really suits for it!

The lyrics:
“Lonely lonely lonely whale
I sing alone like this
Could someone like me, who’s like an isolated island, shine brightly as well?
Lonely lonely lonely whale
I try singing once again like this
until this song with no reply reaches tomorrow

No more, no more baby
No more, no more
This one endless signal will reach someday,
even to the other side of the earth
No more, no more baby
No more, no more
Even the blind whales will be able to see me
Today as well, I sing, yet again”

From "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" to "Castaway Diva". Her recent dramas are unique and I'm loving it. I'm looking forward to this one.

No, they will coincide with 2 week gap.
I kinda hope they won't coincide so they'll have their own hype and won't get comparisons.

Title Romanced
I usually rate webdramas lower but "Romanced" is a 10 for me! Since I was a kid, I've seen cheating stuffs on TV, so I've always wanted to see the victim cheating back from her cheater partner. This webdrama perfectly showed it and I was so satisfied until the end.

I think the reason why the female lead easily moved on and made a plan is because they were only a couple for 3 months and she saw it herself, up close, how he's cheating on her. I love that there's no denial or misunderstandings, she straight up accepted that he's a bad guy, fooled them and gave them more pain. I really enjoyed it when the jerk male lead and her gf were losing it. I'm glad that the female lead gained confidence and found a better guy who's willing to help her. Their scenes together were amazing.

The sketch concept is really cool but I didn't care that much to the protagonists and I ended up rooting for the antagonists.
