First saw her in "Celebrity" and it's her debut drama. Everytime she appears, I can't stop thinking how she looks familiar. She kinda resemble Filipina actress Meg Imperial.
The thing I don't like in this drama is how they added the sexual harassment case. There are really victims, but there are also girls who overreact and accuse innocent guys. In here, it was obvious that it was just a misunderstanding. It's annoying how they both acted to it and how it was dragged on for longer.
And that shoe scene was extremely exaggerated to show something new. I know entitled rich people exists, but there's no way they would walk just like that. It still made me turn off to the male lead though.
I didn't feel the romance in here, I mean this drama is not romance in the first place, so I didn't care about them two. But I like when they worked together.
Ahri: I don't like likes everyone. Also Ahri: Shocked that her followers dropped.
The fact that she posted that just after she fed on her followers about her outfit is ironic. The female lead is such a hypocrite. The 4 girls were obviously being pretentious but Ahri was acting 'not like other girls' which made her annoying despite her calm personality. They're all unlikable but it was still so fun seeing their fights. It's interesting how they dive into social media influencers in this drama, showing the glamour and darkness to it between their online and offline lives, and how far they will go for it. It's charming yet crazy, along with some important lessons to it.
Kingdom is an incredible masterpiece and it's one of the best kdramas of all time. And when is season 3 coming?! It's been 3 years but there's still no news about it.
Anyway, for anyone who likes survival kdramas about zombies and apocalypse, here's a list of it including the upcoming ones: https://kisskh.at/list/3rWagnm4
I just saw this page and I haven't seen news casting about this drama. Is it just a webdrama? I hope it's a full length drama. I'm interested in the plot and I can sense the tension between the female lead and male lead.
It looks like some people are ignoring Doha's traumatic experiences and how it affected him. His mental health and well-being are important. It should be more acknowledged in this drama.
There are many male leads who have a tragic past. They're usually cold and putting an act which makes them arrogant and annoying. But Doha is different. He's more on the soft and gentle side which makes him clear about his vulnerable state. He's a reclusive who's been hiding his self from the world and always get anxious to anything. He's genuine, that's what makes me care for him and root for his recovery and growth throughout the episodes. I'm glad to see his character development.
PS. His traumatic experience is different too. He suffered from his abusive manipulative ex-gf which is a rare case and I haven't seen in a kdrama. It's one of the things that makes this drama interesting.
If I'm gonna point out the problem with Doha... He's too kind. I don't want to victim blame him, but his kindness is taken advantage by people around him and he doesn't realize it. And with his ex-gf's brother trying to stab him for the second time, he should have known that it was crossed the line and had him arrested instead of letting him go. I understand if he felt guilty or ashamed to do it since he's a suspect himself on his ex-gf. It was a shock for him. But it was still a big mistake. I hope he learns his lesson when it comes to dealing with bad people.
In the good side, Doha's improvement is doing well. In the middle episodes, he stopped hiding his self, recovering from his social anxiety/PTSD and communicating with more people. And now in the last few episodes, he's finally facing his problems and fighting back to stand for himself. I love how he didn't run away, cleared his name in front of the mass media and trying his best to find the real culprit despite the attacks against him. He's starting to get stronger and confident.
I'm glad that this drama is addressing mental health and it's been heartwarming to see the healing process of Doha. One person is enough to give him hope. Having someone like Solhee to understand and trust him after everything he went through is truly meaningful.
This is gonna be a thrill. I'm not sure what the plot is, but I feel like it might be similar to The Purge where people are rampaging. South Korea is a gun-free country but most of their men knows to use guns from their military service. I'm curious how the characters will turn out.
This is one of the dramas I'm excited to watch. I love apocalypse and survival stuffs, and in here, they're fighting against giant insects. That would be the first time in a kdrama. It's also giving some The Mist vibes. I haven't read the manhwa but it has positive feedbacks and I hope the live action will also do well.
Solhee is a liar hunter but she's a liar herself too. It's been shown since the beginning. But her lies are usually "white lies" about small things and it's not big deal or can affect on life. The biggest lie she made was in the first episode when she first met Doha being assaulted and she pretended to be his girlfriend. But her lie was necessary so both of them could get out of trouble.
Solhee is not a perfect character and we've seen her flaws, mainly with her lie detector ability. Her character development started after she discovered Doha's and Kangmin's secrets (along with her last clients in dinner date and at hospital). She's always been confident due to her ability, but her catchphrase "If I say so, then it is" hasn't been mentioned since then after she realized the mistakes of her ability especially regarding to the conclusions she makes. But it's great how she's learned to be more careful, understanding of people and be better at dealing with situations which started through Doha.
From her confrontation with her mom, closure with Kangmin, revelation to Doha, reflection on herself... I love the growth of Solhee. Solhee's character arc has passed and the drama is now focusing on Doha's murder case where she's the one trusting and supporting him. Even though she's not using her ability on her clients like before, she still finds ways to make it useful even in small things, and it's now more important since they're investigating and meeting people. She will probably also meet Doha's mom and I'm curious about the lies she's gonna detect on her.
Thanks for creating this list. It's been bothering to see people who confuses some kdramas as Netflix original even though it's not, but they're just being distributed on the platform. This list are the actual Netflix original dramas.
People were too quick to jump on the previous article and call this drama bad. They obviously waited for the negativity and gave it attention. And now that there's a positive article, no one is commenting lol.
This drama is not on excellent level, but it's not bad like those people are accusing. It's interesting and meaningful. And I'm just confused why people are complaining about both the romance and mystery. This drama has always been a romance-mystery from the get-go. The romance is not cheesy and the mystery is not heavy. It's a good balance, plus the supernatural makes it fun.
Now that the main couple are together and steady on their romance, people are complaining. And now that they're trying to find the truth and investigating the murder case, people are also complaining. I know everyone has different tastes, but the inconsistency of their opinions is annoying.
Anyway, I think the charm of this drama is the main lead's healthy relationship and gradual growth. Some people dislike how they got in a relationship too fast (episode 9), but it wasn't fast and they had a decent development. It's good that they didn't add unnecessary misunderstandings since the characters are straightforward and they know how to communicate with each other. Trust and honesty are the main theme of this drama. If they got together later, there might be more conflicts and their relationship might be used against the murder case. People just don't think about the main leads being in a stable relationship is actually important so they could help and work together to solve the murder case. It's part of the healing process of Doha with Solhee's support by his side.
The neighbors: I've seen a lot of people getting annoyed by them, but I wasn't that bothered about them. I understand that they're the comic relief in the drama. But they also have an important part of helping build a bridge for Solhee and Doha with their gatherings, especially about Doha recovering from his social anxiety and connecting to more people. And now in the recent episode, I'm so glad to see them trusting Solhee and Doha after they helped them on the bread and cheating cases. They know that Solhee and Doha are good people.
Solhee's mom: She became less annoying and I find her becoming more funny. She might be selfish, but she still cares about Solhee and tried to bring the dad to talk to her. Solhee's dad is actually cool and she definitely got her personality from him. I would like to see their interactions.
Syaon: I'm glad she finally backed off, moving on and focusing on herself which is important to heal her delusions. Hope she stays good now.
CEO's brother: I thought he's just a little bad guy and sidekick of his brother, but his part in Doha's murder case might be bigger. That also explains why he got his money problem in previous episode. It wasn't just random and it made his intentions on Doha get worse.
Came back here again since My Lovely Liar's ratings has risen from 2.4% to 3.2% in episode 12. Hopefully it won't decrease again and it can remain steady at 3%. It's an average rating for a cable channel unlike in public channels. The highest ratings it got was 3.4% in episode 6.
I've watched a lot of dramas and movies, but Bulgasal has the most mind blowing and impactful ending ever that I still remember until now. It's tragic, painful, beautiful, hopeful. It's fascinating how it took them another lifetime. I got really emotional seeing the left behind growing old and waiting in the same home. With the time passing by and everything changing, I felt like I was in a different world with them. It feels strange yet special. I really believe in reincarnation so it left a deep impression on me.
I cried in episode 1. This drama feels special and something about it hit me. The power/ability I want is teleportation since it can make things easier, but I also want to remember my past life. I believe in reincarnation. In my next life, I hope I could remember my past life so I would know what to do and what not to do. Even though you could remember all the painful memories and might suffer again, you'll also learn a lot from it and become wiser, especially with the decisions you make. It can make your new life easier. I need this kind of power/ability.
And everytime the main OST plays, I get so emotional. I have my own different situation from the female lead, but the lyrics is really relatable to me:
“Just like a star I stay here for long While everything is changed I just cannot help but stay Just like a star Don't even see myself get old It's hard to be explained I wanna break away I keep on praying Oh, why”
One of my favorite things about this drama is Sol-Hee's wardrobe. It's perfect 😭
Yeah same. I love how Solhee has different outfits in here, dress on jeans, just dress, skirts, t-shirts, etc. She dresses up based on her mood from casual to formal style. It's interesting to look after her variety.
Some people dislike her dress on jeans style, but it looks cute and it suits Solhee's laidback personality.
And that shoe scene was extremely exaggerated to show something new. I know entitled rich people exists, but there's no way they would walk just like that. It still made me turn off to the male lead though.

I think some people find it more comfy with jeans instead of just dress.

While everything is changed
I just cannot help but stay

Oh, why”
Some people dislike her dress on jeans style, but it looks cute and it suits Solhee's laidback personality.
