It's a pity viewers don't like redflag female leads. I did not watch "the glory" but I watched a similar story. And the inner conflict and unconventional plot twists are more interesting than the usual heroine - villain dynamic.
Regarding this story, I wouldn't like the heroine to harm Kang Cheul. Frankly I like the characters. However, if the red flag female lead has a good reason to act the way she does. I think that could be understandable thus likable. And the audience will discuss a lot about the right and wrongs.
Lowkey feel like the main couple is only there so theh can have our side couple
I don't agree. The main couple story is full of broken taboos. It is a complex story that hurt viewers sensibility. It is not a stand in for in reality a subliminal couple.
my exact reaction. so wrong and pretty horrible on all levels. No is No. doesn't matter if you love someone. ml…
I totally agree. No means No. But FL did not flee or yell, exept when she knew about the baby's death and wanted to die. The writer plays with people's taboo.

OK. I did not know the writer let her script available for people to read it. That's nice. Th darker redflag FL would possibly not be that succesfull. Because fewer people like redflag FL. I agree the original plot is well balanced and doesn't reveal to much and it is perfect for a drama. Which is different for a movie.
Kang Cheul killing the killer was well paced in my opinion because he took a lot of time to get to the main villain. So I was not disturbed. As a hero he is compelled to win the battle with the villain. And if it was easy from Kang Cheul to win other the killer, it is also because the W world obeys to Kang Cheul's thinking.

Thank you I understand,if nothing significant happens. I know that the dad left by ep 4, and I read that past ep 70 the dad was still at large. I was surprised. Now I know why. I will try those two dramas. thank you.
Painful to watch, no likable characters to root for. What does it have to do with the universally acclaimed "Cinderella"…
I put it on pause at episode 5 But I understood then, that she is poor and will be intangled with the adopted son. And she will get hatred from the daughter of her real aunt. I was wondering if I can resum it. But you seem tired to watch.

I agree. It would need a darker story, if FL is ploting against the hero. If it is supposed to be a romance. Yes at some point of time she will stop trying to kill him. In this regard, her regretting her actions and wanting to make amends but for some reason the result of her actions backfires and the set trap still awaits Kang Cheul... This version would be great because it gives us a glimpse at her inner conflicts. If the romance should continue, that would be a trope enemies to lovers, but for me the mystery part would over shadow the romance. Because the mystery is more interesting .

". She would have to deal with actual consequences of her action and introspect." What consequences ? That Kang Cheul would try to kill her? If she wants to kill him, that would be logical.

Your version is a little too dark in my opinion. Ho YeonJoo wanting to kill Kang Cheul and meeting him in W. But hidding that she is the killer and trying to set traps for him to fall into them without revealing her identity is too twisted for me to understand it. She would be a psychopath or she would be schizophrenic with double personality. Nothing would have change for Kang Cheul : he would have investigated the killer's indentity. And last twist , he would have discovered the truth. As Kang Cheul perished in W, the ending would pretty much remain the same as he would have not come back to the real world to date his killer. So he would have died in W. End of the drama.
I was interested and I watched until mid season and then the plot was almost inexistente so I kind of lost interest. But I still wanted to resume it for the cast. But with your review I am puzzled. and disappointed in a way.
Yes, exactly. I keep thinking that if thos SML arranged for photos to be taken. Maika is got some problems now. All this because she is too friendly. She should have pushed him away on the spot, without letting him the time to confess. 🤦♀️
