Is it an open ending ? To me it is a happy ending because we know that male lead was in coma. At the end female lead sees a male hopping off the car and she smile happily after being depressed about male lead's death. To me male lead woke up and came to female lead.
An open ending would be that female lead wakes up in the real world alone. And everything changed arround her. This would be an open ending because anything could happen.

I first rated the show 8.0 then I went for 9.0 and now I am considering giving it a 10 ❤‿❤ Because the investigation is so complex and well crafted, the romance is cute and the chemistry is fire.
