Now that you talked about it, I realize that you are right.


- Ji Yan / Yin became a fashionnista now. He can change outfits several times in an episode. Which he did not before.

- Ji Yan / Yin is also courted by several ladies. It was said in episode 21 during the investigation and Nan Yan wasn't happy about it.

- Ji Yan / Yin is very strong-witted because he can repel Sen Luo ( main antagonist spirit) very easily which is rare to see in dramas. ( bravo )

- Ji Yan / Yin is charming and very attractive. The ladies on the boat were praising his beauty when he collected the scale for Nan Yan ( episode 20 or 21) .
I personnaly agree with these ladies because Zhang Ling He is so handsome that I wish I was on that whaleboat next to him :P


All this makes it obvious that the fox gets jealous because he used to be the only one female lead talkes to but now he is pushed aside.
That's understandable.

I really hope that the writters will not make him fall for Nan Yan. It is better for him to keep the friendship card.

I don't know at all. No clue why Second Male Lead ( Ling Yuan) acts like that.

=> First I thought that he loved the twin sister ( Wen Hao).

Then, it was shown that his father beat him for breaking-up with (fake) Wen Hao.
=> So I thought that his father coerced him to go out with Wen Hao. He doesn't love her.

Next, he wanted to use ( fake) Wen Hao when he clutched her against the wall without any feelings after she has been framed by her colleagues.
=> So I thought he doesn't love her.

Next, I noticed that he had some sorte of attraction toward Male Lead (Xu Zhe Qing) :
- episode 5 he is jealous of Wen Xi being on Male Lead's minds 3 years later;
- episode 12 the way he eats Male lead's chocolate ( with pleasure);
- episode 20 he discovered the true identity of Male Lead and he is losing Male Lead. I saw him embracing Male lead and crying saying that Male Lead saved him and Male Lead should stay by his side.
=> So I thought that maybe he is gay or he has an attraction for Male Lead. He loves him.
Because why would someone cry that way and embrace that way? If it was for friendship. Men are not that demonstrative to my knowledge.

To be honest, I don't understant where Ling Yuan's heart is at all .

UPDATE : When I think about it :

Male Lead saved Female Lead and they fell in love for each other.
But, Male Lead also saved Second Male Lead. Did he fall in love with him or something?
