@HJHofT17 Yes I totaly agree. Hong Ju has alway been the one he loves but that doesn't mean that he did not date other girls. He did not deny it when she was accusing him. So it is clear that he did. Indeed, who would stay quiet when he is falsly accuses by the person he loves. It is not one of those tropes when someone is threatening his/her life if he confesses that he went out with other girls until this point of time. There is no such thing here.

Indeed, the leads have to be virtuous otherwise some viewers might complain. It looks fake but people like it. I highly doubt that ML would reject all girls in the U.S. just to be faithful to the memory of his first love, he is not even sure to see again in his life.
I don't know why this virginity stuff is even relevant to the drama. This is not a plot point of the drama. There is only some people who might have issues with virginity and they past all those issues onto the leads. Viewers will not accept Male Lead to be a seductor. He has to be virtuous and faithful. So naturally, he will only show affection to female lead.
