Ohhhh yes! There is a sexual tension everytime these two are on-screen. From the beginning it started.
I love the fact that she is so smart, also that she plays with him and teases him.
And she is so strong. I mean, the girl had the courage to gallop alone toward a battlefield to save Duke Su. She it that amazing.
Equally he is so amazingly brave and clever.
I am in love with these Two (*_*)
I don't know if other leads will surpass them someday.

Yes, a badass personnality would have been better. It lacks a real Badass girl in this drama. She could have been a great helper for the leads.
The Female Lead is strong because she survived a lot of upheavals. But she is kindhearted and I am always afraid that someone could manipulate her.
She is clever, this is was she did well until now.

So, if the spy at the Jiang residence was planted 7 years ago by Duke Su.

It means that, the SYR residence was also spied on for 7 years. As a result, Duke Su was aware of all the courtship of SYR even before marrying XFF.
Now, I understand this look of his, when he first saw XXF from the terrasse. He already knew a lot about her. (actions, personnality and reputation)

So this is why he fell in love with her so fast and he trusted her completely to work with him as a double agent.

I approad this drama the same way you did.
On the first episode I clearly understood this would not be a fluffy rom-com ( as I thought) but a mystery/ espionage/ action drama. I could sens that a deep dark secret organisation was behind all this story.
I was hooked. So, I gave the drama the time to develop the plot.
And OMG, the more the episodes aired, the more I was addicted.
I waited patiently every saturday and sunday to watch the new episodes as they aired.
It was a roller coaster ride of emotions as the story developed.
I was totally in love with this drama.

I heard that people complained about the fact that the romance was almost unexisting.
I don't agree, actress behind the female lead ( Hong Ye Ji) said that the text might not be romantic but the actors behaviours on set are. Indeed, they are affectionnate.

But looking back at the way the story developed, personnaly, I liked the fact that the story was more about the palace ploys than the romance.
Because, from my point of view, the suspens set by the schemes spiced up the romance and I was sometimes afraid for the Leads because of it.

So this is a great drama. One of my favourites.

And I dont even speak about the OST, which I am crazy in love with.
Especially the Suho's "love you more gradually ", "100 days of dreams" and of course " love is like the wind".
The later was my lullaby before sleeping for a long time (^__^)

Ok. Thank you Raymond Ardin for making it clear. I looked for informations regarding that topic and I couldn't find anything.

This must be why I enjoy the drama so much. It has it's own existence. The characters, settings, back stories and interactions are slightely differents from the korean drama ^_^

It seems like this is a remake of the korean drama.
I watched "the beauty inside aswell but I like the story of this drama. They have their own flavour. I like it ^^
Male Lead is charming and he has a sweetness about him. He smoothly et silently teases Female Lead all the time. How cute.
This is very different from "The Beauty inside". In this drama the ML was aloof and cold. He was charming aswell but in a different way. More serious. He never teased her. Or maybe just a little at the end of the drama
To conclude: the drama worths the watch ^^

Yes Male Lead was cured of his face blindness in the original story.

He can recognize the way she walks. In the beauty inside ( the original korean story) it was the key point for him to recognize her.
I am on episode 15 of "follow your Heart" and it is funny because Female Lead keeps asking Male Lead about how he manages to recognize her.
She tries to test him every time and she fails every times. ^^
He recognizes her every time. ^^
This is funny you'll see.
But as I previously watched "the beauty inside" I guess. They might use the same plot point it 's to say : the way she walks, we will see...???

Yes , I agree. At least the drama adresses her arrogant personality.
They could have made her just cold and aloof like a lot of historical dramas do.
So, there is hope that her behaviours change.
That only, is a plus to me. It makes me wanna resume the drama ^^
