You know sometimes it is because the competency stops you from continuing a drama. I think "Trillion Game" is good, but depending on the moment you watched it, you couldn't finish it.
Or you did not have the time to binge it. I stopped "my life again" because of this. I wanted to watch all of it because it was good and I stopped hoping to resume it at episode 10/16. I gave it a 9 or 10 because it was very good. Nevertheless I put it on hold. I have to resume it.

"Igarashi Fusai wa Giso Tanin" : They are a sweet couple. like in WTPR they don't know how to talk to each other. ML is committed and that's sweet. Moreover, I think they communicate well, so far at least. That's good. I don't know what delusion this SFL has, but I gues she will create misunderstandings for the main couple. It was ridiculous seing her trying to get into ML's house.

"Ikinari kon" has some clichés but this is also why this is cute. The shy FL and the strong (but not aloof CEO, nor tsundere ) ML.^^
Some viewers are over sensitive on mysoginy which can make them biased against everything. And that can backfire on them.
As for the plot, in a western drama FL as a shy character would be clumsy as well, but as it is a Jdrama, she keeps a layer of respect and shyness as she goes through unexpected situations. This is cute to me.

I just binged a 2023 drama : "Hoshi Furu Yoru ni" that was very poetic and beautiful. Caution: this is a noona romance. this is different from WTPR which is a ahjussi romance. And the first 5 minutes can be shocking/ not understandable. It is explained later on. But it is a beautiful drama about the life, death, healing... It leaves a very positive feeling. You might like it. The actress is one of my favs since I watched "your eyes tell", the japanese remake of the kdrama "Always".

A beautiful drama, full of meaning and sweetness.This drama takes a stand point on topics like : life, death, love, friendship, scars, revenge... Even the main antagonist's development was refreshing. Feel good drama for sure. And yes, don't get triggered by the firsts 5 mn. It is explained later on. I gave it a 9.0.

Inthe previous episode, I though that Aotian came to meet ML as a human being. It was great to se that. I guess that the NPC An Yushen wasn't allowed to see Aotian in his true form. Ha ha

I was in drama slump until today when I started "Igarashi Fusai wa Giso Tanin" and "Ikinari kon" ( A viewer picked a fight with me because of female Lead for this one. She said the drama was misogynistic O_o)

They don't need to say the word copedendance in the drama for the FL behaviour to be of a codependant person.

Thank you for the recommendation but their is a lot dramas with the exact opposite. So this is not something that "always" happens in dramas.

I don't agree with " the need to keep pushing the idea that a woman needs a man to protect her". Especially for Jdramas.
There are a lot of jdramas in wich role are reversed and the woman is aloof and cold and the man is romantic and weak, thus he needs the woman to protect him.
I.E. "Jitenshaya-san no Takahashi-kun (2022)" and a lot more.
The drama is not even on mid-season, let alone finished. So we have no idea about the character development. And you are already saying that the plot and the characters are misogynistic.

If it was, I would be the first to be disturbed.
But when I see a mentally diminished character, who flankly gives me the vibe of a codependant woman.
Knowing those kind of people in real life, I would have loved to see someone a codependent woman could trust to finaly heal .

I disagree, because FL is mentally diminished. She doesn't value herself.
She was ready to leave her house at night to go meet her ex cheating boyfriend who trashed her persona just hour ago, at the welcoming dinner party.
In this case, if FL doesn't act for her own safety, I am happy ML is there to protect her.

Yes I got that Ella was two-timing the boys and left Class E. Only, I didn't know she was using Aries's connection to escape Class E. I don't feel like she is an antagonist for now. Let's see how it evolves.

Regarding Yuri, I also have the feeling he likes Jay-Jay but he is very mysterious. It could be for good or for bad. Moreover, his family gives me the feeling of a dangerous family especially Yuri's father. He gives me the real villain's vibe.

I would like to see David more. And I don't like the way Aries let the thugs from Class D attacking Jay-Jay.
