If I understand : the parents of Beak Sa Eon who are alway criticizing Hong Hui Ju for being impaired ; gave birth to a kind of psychopath who might be behin all this aout of jealousy because they abandonned him in an orphanage?

Every time Ni Han Jin in a drama, he plays an antagonist. So I knew exatly what it was about when I saw him the first time.

I agree . I reacted like you afterSML started chasing FL. It felt too stereotypical.
I know that writers do this to please the audience and add more angst to the relationship of the leads.
It was not really a friendship in the start. SML tried to kill them and in order to survive they faked a relationship to fool him. So SML was more of a threat to me.
Thinking about it, I put myself in the writer's shoes.
How could I stopped this powelful villain attempt of murder ?
1) SML could fall for FL ( cliché);
2) SML must have a leverage on ML & FL in exchange of something ( already done);
3) SML's life could be in danger and ML & FL can save him ( already done);
4) SML could need ML & FL to seek revenge or for investigation ( they did not use this version because it would develop more the plot with SML's character. I dont know if viewers would accept this. Some would say it is a messy plot.)
However at the end SML pieces together the elements of his past and we get the investigation.

I agree this one is nice to watch. I like how the plot evolves.

SML in love with FL ? Because writers love tropes.
However, I liked that SML tried but always failed comically. Especially the bath scene :)

It is 65 episodes but they pass very quickly. It is nice to see a logical and consistent plot.

Ok. Sometimes I can watch those type of comedy. The big problem is all the cultural references they make about korea. If one doesn't have some knowledge about culture. It can be difficult to watch and laugh.
It reminds me of "Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale". A lot of people didn't like it because it was funny the korean way, With a lot of references to k-culture. So either you understand the culture or you have great subtitles explaining all this (but can you laugh if you spend your time reading subs?).

Oh city hunter!! I remember that one, now that you speak about it. I have put it on pause because sometimes FL was too childish. I remember FL sulking at the exit of a supermarket with ML. At that point of time I was tired of it so I stopped, But I consider taking it back. When I watched it I was thinking that LMH was very handsome.

You might be right the shower scene was probably around the time she was waiting for him in the ellipsis of the very beginning of the show. Because in that scene he was surendering to her. And just thinking about it, that scene still makes me blush.

You have no idea LOL. I was waiting for each episode by the minute. I remember that I knew exactly the airing time and I was connected to the platform as soon as it was out.
You are right, there was to many ellipsis/flashbacks in this show. Just a few would have been better because it was kind of repetitive.
I still liked the drama but the narration would have been better handled that way.

I plan to watch "lost and found". I don't like amnesia trope either, but if it is well executed I might ike it. PLEASE, I really hope it will not be cliché. In other genre I can watch amnesia trope, for instance in mystery or espionnage. Let's hope.

If it was your first drama. It is totally normal that you did not notice certain things because you were overwelmed by all the informations you got from the drama.
Yes like you I felt her acting childish at times.
Like you I will rewatch it. I scrolled her bio and all her dramas on MDl to see if she was doing romances. And I found out she doesn't. So they must have told her it was not for her to play romance. If I stumbble on her it would be interesting to see if she improved her craft.
But I admit that for now, I am not very interested to watch her as a lead in a drama. Because I was to disappointed with her acting in "faith". But if the plot is interesting, I might watch 1 of her movies.

I totally agree with you. Lee Min Ho mesmerized me in this drama and I fell in love with the tenderness and shyness of choi young.

You know what, now that you say it, if he always play chaebol heirs like in "the king eternal monarch" I undestand your frustration.
I learn that he was an intelligent croock in a mermaid drama.

Your perception is right. We don't know when the very steamy scene happened. We never knew exactly when it was. I guess it was at the begining when FL was seducing ML, but I have no clue when exactly she cornerd him that way. They Did not tell us exactly when it begins. I would have to watch the drama again to catch the clues. And Ohhhhh yes I would have loved the drama to bring us again to (before / after) that moment to reconnect with that tension. Because after that, ML and FL wa playing cat and mouse and the sexual tension was not as high as in the beginning .
However, I am happy they kept the push and pull. It would have been a pity if after all that sexiness the rest was dull.

The SML was indeed ridiculous and The SFL was pitiful. The two characters was one-dimensional and that I did not like. Of course the acting could have been better as well but luckily SML did not have so much scenes and SFL either so I bared with it.

The two leads was in another short drama in wich they have twins. But I have not watched it yet. I heard some people say it it not good. I doubt it because they have good chemistry together. I will watch it and make my own opinion : "lost and found"

You are welcome :) I enjoyed this drama so much, I thought you might like it as well and I am happy you did. This drama gave me butterflies and I hope more mini dramas had this level of acting and that the plot could keep one alert like this one did to me :)
As I watched this drama as it aired, I was frustrated all the time , because I was waiting for the next episodes to be released LOL.
But it was totally worth it. Your experience was better than my in this aspect : you could binge it freely.
You cracked me up when you said that you wanted to test the first episode and you got hoocked and couldn't stop. I had the impression we had the same experience. I understand the feeling. Happy that you liked it.

I have been waiting for Lee Jong Suk next work. His co-star is a great actress. I am happy too see him again. Two great actors and that's a fact.

The changed the character from dark to a green flag. It could have been done differently. Keeping some of his caracsteristics would have added more tension and suspens to the drama. Too bad.

Yes this is true that lately, all we watch is not so amazing. It was better before. I prefer ancient dramas. They are better than those which put us in drama slump now.

This is a weird way to analyse a product. Quality is what counts. Good writing and good acting. Making a micro drama look fancy will never cut it.:/
