The story goes in a good direction. I was still surprised that Andre left the soccer team and I am very annoyed to watch Gina living her best life with the cheating husband.
That guy is so disgusting. He wants the wife and the mistress.
Now that the wife is labeled as a cheater herself, it seems that she will have to stop retaliating against Female lead.
It was delightful to listen to the wife saying to Gina ( paraphrasing) : I hope you are happy about what you get and the way you are getting it.
This is what I call : sleeping your way up the ladder.

I don't know about you, but I love this drama because of Lee min Ho. He brought the "aloof general" kind of character to another level. Watching him I felt his struggles and desperation so much. He could gave her warmth but at the same time be very reserved, without being awkward.
He made me cry at some point, when he was struggling with his hand.
Believe me, I barely know his dramas. I only watched "The king : eternal monarch". But with this show. I understood why he has such a big fandom.

Kim Hee Sun's acting was indeed childish and awkward especially in the intimate / romancing scenes with Lee Min Hoo.
I agree, it felt weird when ever she put her head on his shoulder or even embraced him. I don't know why. It is such a pity. The story was beautiful and it could have been a great financial success, despite the lack of budget. I kept watching it because of LMH and I don't regret it.
It was very melodramatic at some point but General Choi Young was alive in this drama. And I could understand his every moves.
Even the logic of her coming from a wormhole was believable to me.
Too bad they cats someone with a no kissing policy. That ruins romances.
I don't know why those kind of people insist on acting in romance dramas. ( same for Allen Ren in China. I heard he married a jealous wife:/)
They should leave the romance to the kissers.

Thank you for the description of the last scenes. I couldn't find the BTS but this is just very sad that the ending was not well executed.
LMH would have saved the day. Because this longing doesn't suffice after such a long absence. But if that author was on set troubling the director. The director could not make the most of it. So the ending ended up being disappointing. Poor guy he suffered a lot.

Update : I found the BTS. This scene would have been perfect if it was like in whitney houston's "Bodyguard" movie. She runs to him, they kiss and he kissing he takes off her hat passionately. ( withney had a scarf) But that girl with a no kissing policy could not let that happen.

I just watched the drama and it is on my Top List, but only for Lee Min Ho. The FL's acting was disappointing and I wished the ending featured a kiss. But now that I read that this woman has a non kissing policy. I understand why she was so weird in the romancing scenes. This drama is the perfect example of 1 good actor saving the entire show. Thank you Lee Min Ho <3

The ending made me cry a bunch so I like it but I wish they could get closer. At first I feared it was a type of open ending. Luckily it was not.

I understand you, because the begining is slow paced. But this is not only a story about a FL who is transported back in time to Goryeo period.
It is more a drama about The last king of Goryeo; who was an hostage prince in Yuan ( china); is coming back to his country and he establishes the basis of what will become a free country in Joseon dynasty with Emperor Taejo.

So it is about a weak king who finds his way as a ruller of a country no more part a the Yuan (china) kingdom. And the crucial role ML ( general Choi young historically) played in this process.

It is a story about freedom.

I came to this drama with no expectations and I was very pleased. The drama started a little slow and there is a lot of dialogue. But it is endearing and the acting is good (lee min ho), FL's acting is just disappointing. Of course it is different from the recent sageuks everybody watch but it is charming in its own way and I like the complexity of the web of characters. I recommend it. I gave it a 9.0.

Yes. But they might speed up the release process of the censorship let it pass faster. But we will have to wait. :/

I did not finish "crush" either, there is a second season.. WOW that's great that you can see them on stage. Great for you. ZhangLingHe is in Singapore They are lucky to be able to see him. One of my classemates lives there. You have more chances to see those celebrities if you live in Singapore or in Thailand.
Yes "Lovesickness" is angsty. I wonder why they always make ML suffer? I don't like it . But as long as they don't kill him. I am fine.

LuoZheng? Yes I like him also. I liked "Time to fall in love" aloof CEO and Unconventional Youtuber. This is the only one I have watched featuring him so far. But I like his acting.

I liked "Lovesickness", it's low budget, but I liked the story.
"Unspekable longing" was ok. To me it was average.

It seems that "The Revenge of Begonia" is a good one . I did not watch it. I don't really like "Republic of China" type of dramas.
"Taking Love as a Contract " was ok. Again another aloof CEO.

I love YangZiXian. I already watched some of his drama too. He is a good actor. I did not like that they let him be the culprit and abandon his lover to his brother. I would have hoped he could be redeemable. So I don't like the ending at all. To me when she left was the ending.

Thank you. I am on episode 13/20. I still like it a lot. Some villains are one dimensional but I appreciate the development of the story. I will keep up watching. I knew ML before and loved him in another drama. This is my first drama with female lead. She is doing great :)

I am watching Revenge of Reborn Princess (2024). It is good. I did not know it would be a time relaps story. But, I am enjoying it. Thank you. You were right. The heroine have good martial arts skill.
