Omg you are so me!I was so infatuated with LBFAD for a long while, but now LiXun and ZY are my fav leads lol
I love LBFAD but if I'm honest it's greatest pull for me is DFQC's character. With L&P it's a combination of a lot of factors, I like not just LiXun but ZhuYun equally, plus the story is really excellent.😊
By tickle scenes, we meant literal tickle. ML tickles FL a lot when they're together lol
There's a bit of misunderstanding in the beginning (ML thought FL moved on with another guy), but it got cleared up early on. I don't know if it classifies as angsty, they were kinda clear about their feelings it's just that they never explicitly say (until later on) that they wanna get back together. So no, it's not a drama with misunderstanding where they back and forth hurt each other and regret. This couple is actually unique, they are very straight forward and non dramatic when they're together.
I'm at epi 17.Gao betrayed LX, right? Well, I can understand him. His frustration is real. How everyone treats…
Yes. It's understandable in the beginning, I kinda felt bad for him. But really went overboard later on. His grievances in the early on would never justify all the bad things he did later on.
2022 is almost done. I can officially say this is the best drama of the year!! I'm sorry DFQC, I still love you 😂, but I gotta he honest, L&P and LiXun wins.💕
And this is definitely one of my all time favorites now. I wonder, I truly wonder when is the next time I will feel this way again for another drama. I've gotten so picky over the past years.
I hope he gets paired with Reba soon, if WuLei can, he definitely can too. I can't imagine how excited he will be then haha Maybe Reba will agree to a kiss scene given he's not a teen (unlike with WuLei where he was still a teen when they shot Long Ballad).
Thanks. Glad they addressed the Gao/ZY 'scandal' again. This gave the story a more realistic touch. Plus, how nice of RenDi to make that announcement to divert the public attention.
What did Li Xun say to his son about Zhu Yun before he died? And what makes you think that he loves her more than…
Btw, I really think of the novel of L&P as a separate story. I tried it, but the writing felt kinda 'wattpad juvenile', if you get what I mean. Novel script sound too forced on trying to make the characters edgy and cool. I wished I never knew of the novel's existence haha But I guess it can't be helped if you hang around MDL page, somebody's bound to point out things from it.

For me it reminded me of that time I read "Time Traveller's Wife". I carried that heavy feeling for some days or even weeks. And also recently when I read AoT (manga) ending. I don't know why these things affect me much. I like when things are realistic and logical, there should be struggles BUT the end should always be happy. I watch and read fiction for that reason lol

Yeah, I wanna scrub this death scene from my mind. Anyhow, drama version is different, I'll remember them as the drama version where they are much healthier and will live longer 😌
Sometimes i feel like its a duty to be a L&P promoter lmao
Me too, I worked harder for this drama than in my actual job these past weeks 😂 I also fight the urge to reply to every comments who keeps criticizing LX haha
Just finished it, my honest opinion : Episode 1-3 were excellent, it felt unique and special. So much potential in the story. 4-10 were still interesting to keep you watching around 11+ it kinda lost it's spark for me. The mystery and struggle surrounding CP's death was just not engaging. It felt like the typical saeguk drama politics intrigue. I would have preferred if they expanded on the Princes' stories instead. Gyeosong, Bogeum, Simso and SungNam's stories were touching, but they barely scratched the surface. So much potential, yet instead we focused around the dead princes. Still a solid 7, as it's one of the few dramas I didn't drop this year.
Its impossible to move on https://twitter.com/Rainie_mikevid/status/1601970290522984448?t=CMZxC4tymZNY6nIIZljlNA&s=19
wow, that was so beautiful. The more you rewatch scenes, the more you appreciate this drama. All these parallels, the attention to details is so insane. Brilliant script and directing indeed.
ahhh, I finally saw the translated version of FeiYu's post. What can I say? I definitely felt his sincerity, appreciation and humbleness in that post. It's so nice seeing how hardworking and serious he is with his work specially given his priviledged background.
I hope he shines more in the future and stays grounded.
Okay, I'm on episode 10 and I'm still wondering, does the King have no daughters? And why is ChungHa allowed to roam freely like that (alone without even a chaperone)?
If they were to pair together again, I might have a hard time not seeing them as LiXun or Zhuyun if it's modern, so I kinda wish they'd do a xianxia or historical instead.
Now they're obviously both not teenagers.
