From parents pov, their daughter:1) dropped out of graduation exams cause of lixun2) suspended from any programming…
Yes, that's why I like this series , because if you look from every characters pov, their actions do make sense, not all agreeable, but atleast understandable. We're just taking sides because we know all the detail and big picture 😂
oh my god. ANOTHER REALIZATION. idk if i'm just super slow and everyone already thinks this or if this was intentional…
For me I didn't put much symbolism into his actions. LX is pretty straight forward, he waited for the award's day because that was the root cause of ZhiYing's misdeeds, revenge is just more impactful that way. I don't think it has anything to do with the sister's eye, but he did specifically went for ZhiJing's eyes to ruin his life/career (they are programmers, it's vital to them). Remember he already planned to ruin ZhiJing's professionally/legally even before the sister's accident. And here comes the bad 'friend' Gao who egged him into using the violent/physical way. He knew he will go to prison so he left the company to Gao.
All in all, I think the ideal is if LX stuck with ZY and did their revenge on ZhiJing the 'legal' way. But realistically, I understand LX as the emotions were raw. He wanted to exact revenge asap.
They were in a relationship for 3 yrs (about 4 til the breakup). I don't think they are officially living together,…
Like during NewYear's eve, ZY was bored and LZ was like 'let's do exercise together' and carried her to the sofa. And cut to the scene of them walking outside and ZY was disappointed that they were 'really exercising' lol and LZ teasing her what else was she thinking.
I have a question! Gao tells Second FL that Li Xun and Zhu Yun have been together for 3 years. he means by that…
They were in a relationship for 3 yrs (about 4 til the breakup). I don't think they are officially living together, ZY still has her things at the dorm. BUT, I don't know if my mind is just dirty 😂 but there are many scenes and lines that suggest they do sleep together and are intimate. I think ZY stays in his apartment from time to time.
So did I understand this right that Li Xun gave Gao all of Zhu Yun‘s shares? Still can’t believe he did that…
exactly. he wanted to cut all connections with ZY that why he took back all the shares. As much as I hate Gao, I think it's interesting to note that the company did also grow bigger under his supervision, and yes, LX still owns 50% and technically he's already rich. The unfair thing that happened is Gao disregarded LX's right to have control in the company (how their vision went from medical field to gaming). To be fair, we also didn't know how it will play out for them if Gao kept LX in control, it's not like LX have access to info and can do much from behind bars. But anyway, Gao's still nasty with how he dealt with LX's lowest moments. LX did not tap into his 50% share into the company yet and rather get funds from Ren Di. For sure that 50% stake will play a role in the future episodes, let's see how he gets his 'revenge'.
honestly he cud hv left her the shares *sadface*-- even if he didnt break up with her... after attacking Fang…
money wasn't thrown away. tbh, those shares weren't valued that much during that time as they were still on the early stage of the business. She got 50% because she's suppose to invest her time and skill, which she will not do anymore once they break up. So romance aside, it's not so unfair that the shares were taken back.
Wish they change the drama cover photo, I don't think it captures the essence of the story. Reminds me of those Jdrama with the baby blue and pink theme lol. I wouldn't have clicked on it just by this photo alone. Thank god for those short tiktok clips that brought me to this drama.

I think the shares part is to make it believable that he only used her. And also, he know ZY's character, she won't easily give up on him and she will use those shares as reasons to still linger around him. He meant to clear out all her connections to him. The angst is too much ðŸ˜
I must say this is one of the very few dramas where I didn't lose interest after the couple get together. They weren't cringey at all, all their scenes are so natural and gave me butterflies.
I should have stopped at 20 for a while to absorb all the sweet scenes, because 22 is absolutely heartbreaking.
This is such an outstanding drama, it deserves a 9 at least so far. Ep 22 is so intense, I am crying for the injustice of it all. It's frustrating but I totally get why LX did that to ZY, he knew what he was about to do and didn't want to drag her down with him, it's totally believable given also his character where he rarely shares his burden to others.
And Gao, my god, he's worse than Zhi Jing, insecure, company-grabbing, backstabbing fake friend. Up to the last minute I was giving him the benefit of the doubt that he wouldn't go as far that, that their friendship atleast meant something to him. He played them all to his benefit. And now he go as far as kick a person who trusted him at his lowest moment.
I can't wait to see how the revenge plot will play out. LX and ZY deserves their happy ending.
ep1 and I'm hooked! I can see why people are reminded of DOTS, the premise is same. but this has it's own charm.. And Sandra's acting is on point, she's so natural! and for some reason she reminds me so much of YeJin
When I'm watching "Lighter&Princess" I have same feeling, which I had during LBFAD. Imo the best two cdramas this…
my first one is TMOPB, imagine I picked the most complex genre! haha I was 13 episodes in and I still don't understand what was happening, luckily I was in the mood then and stuck thru with it and it ended up being one of my all time favorites. then I began enjoying historical and fantasy cdramas. The first time I tried a modern Cdrama, I picked Well Intended Love because of the number of viewers here in MyDramalist. My god! what pure trash hahaha I stayed away from modern Cdramas years after that. Thankfully I stumbled upon Begin Again and Go Ahead that restored my respect for modern Cdramas.

I think along the way Kdramas lost their spark. I find myself watching and enjoying Cdramas more lately. The only issue with Cdramas is there's too many of them, and not everything is of high quality, so when a first time viewer unluckily picked a bad one it tends to leave a bad impression. But for sure the good ones are in my opinion a lot better than the hyped Kdramas.

without too much spoiler, will this drama get serious and angsty as it progress?
or will it stay comedic?
