You're right. I never read those parts. When I read the story it was just the main chapter as is. There were no extra scenes. If were to get racy that would need to go Domundi. Wasi Sabi or GMMTV would do it. Not w/ GeminiFourth. Domundi will do it. James was 19 when he just did BedFriends but they filmed it when he was 18 & started reading for it when he was 17. If you saw BedFriends or CutiePie - you know they'd do 100% of Love Sick in DETAIL.
Cultural appropriation is tricky subject - so i won't comment on blackface anymore because i truly believe actors…
You don't know what Earth/Mix would have done so let's not bring them into the. However, I will say this: they do & have on a regular said NO to GMMTV w/o repurcussions. However, in South East Asia & particularly in a country that still has a colour heirarchy I wouldn't put any altar for a person.
He was shocked though. He stopped chewing, and you could see how he was breathing in heavily. I wonder why he…
They went to school together. It was the four musketeers everyone knows or should know: Perth, Chimon, Nanon, & Ohm. Chimon, Nanon, & Ohm were signed onto GMMTV, Ohm getting it first (he's their senior). Perth was the only one I think who went to Wabi Sabi b/c his management team was there. But those Four are bros- like bro bros. IDK what happened w/ O & N. However, Perth unfortunately, unintentionally picked a side - Ohm. Chimon seems down w/ everyone at arm's length but closest to Perth b/c Perth seems safe waters. It also helps them work together so Chimon has no position he has to take until their pairing stops. I think it will b/c honestly...they're not popular. However, people need to shut up about their friendship. Chimon & Perth are Bestfriends since Uni.

Loved the book. It was great. I thought the series DID justice to the book despite all the side stories that WERE in the series but NOT in the book. I wouldn't mind a reboot of Love Sick w/ competant actors. I know a lot of people bashed White/Captain for their acting - but for the quality they're giving us today these guys deserve Academy Awards.
I would put GeminiFourth in a reboot of Love Sick. They can still play High School kids & they're actually very good young actors.
i don't get it. Were they implying Tay is f***ing First? Btw: Why are Tay and First so lovey dovey? I have seen…
That's a lie. PERTH has NEVER made a comment about homosexuality or any other joke. Remove Perth's name in your statement. Joong's comment is a cultural issue conflict & just don't talk about it. Sadly Joong wouldn't be able to fix this so Thai people could understand & Turkish people could understand ---nor would outside international of BOTH cultures could understand. I watch dizis & lakorns from both cultures excessively - this is completely lost in translation & GMMTV gave him the punishment & he ate it. However, I can tell you what Joong said wasn't intentionally offensive it was just lost in translation.
Predatory that’s the word I’ve been looking for. It was all so abhorrent I wanted to cry. White seems bitter,…
I wish I had an emoji for applause I've been wanting to use. He can't get rid of that baby fat, so he's been stuck in the sidekick role who can't even get the girl to kiss him. Although he resented playing the gay role, he used to bash it as a teen. He's like that gay jock who bullies the school LGBTQ crush he has. In his status he wouldn't mind playing those bl roles again - however he can't get them so he shits on them instead. God, I hate White. I still love, Love Sick. However, I hated him as a teenager when I heard of his behaviour then. I hate him as an ughly adult.
Cultural appropriation is tricky subject - so i won't comment on blackface anymore because i truly believe actors…
That doesn't matter. He could have debuted on Channel 7 when he was 5 yrs old. It means nothing. If you move to another company it's like you debuted all over again b/c this is a brand new company. This is a new company. They have different rules, expectations, different people, and different organizational setups. You need to learn how THEY work. That being said seniority is based on how long you've been w/ the particular company or debut within that company. It doesn't count if you debuted in another company & moved over - it's tabula rasa once you move over. That's why Perth is at zero although he debuts like 6 or so yrs ago.
Oy. But they're babies to the system. They couldn't argue against GMMTV - GMMTV has blacklisted for saying "B-". As a black person. Can you tell me who else put on blackface & what exactly did Perth say that was "homophobic"? A lot of people throw that term around w/o knowing its meaning - just like racist, prejudiced, bigot, etc. They all have very distinct meanings. I need an exact phrase. I happen to be part of the LGBTQ+ so I'm not throwing that around lightly. Was Perth part of the laughing community? PROVEN FALSE!!!
Okay, I got a clarification about the translation of the "jokes" that Foei and White made, and this clarification…
OVERALL BY YOUR STATEMENT: It seems like people jumped to conclusions & International should have left it in the hands of Thai people?!
Thank you for this. As an international fan, I have a lot of issues w/ International fans jumping into drama w/o knowing all the facts. The reason is that even though I was raised in the US I was born in another country. There are words that can't be translated b/c they aren't there so the phrasing & meaning are off. If in my language it's something negative, however, translated it may seem more negative or actually positive. For instance, there is an insult in my country called, translated literally "salty monkey". That's the translation in English. You'd laugh. In my language that's an insult that would lead to a huge fight w/ punches & everything. When people say "lost in translation" it's no joke. I feel like this is an issue related to First. International people from what I saw were making it worse. GMMTV apologized & First accepted the apology. By pushing the issue. They might have to force First in a situation to accept the apology again making him bend down worse. I hate "allies". The "black face" definitely needed an apology for their native dak-skinned Thai actors, citizens, & black actors, citizens, in addition to their black fans. Furthermore, it is ONLY we who can accept their apology. I saw way too many people outside of those listed accepting apologies for us. Thank you for setting some facts straight. I'm upset by Perth's actions in this entire thing although he's not mentioned. Based on your & other people's statement it's as though he didn't do much. What people wanted from him was to stand up for First. However, everyone said, Chimon, Fouth, & Gemini did. I say all this b/c Perth seems completely ignored in everyone's statements, for someone who was there the long haul, unlike Newie.
Why do these things keep happening to Uea? Well coz he won't set boundaries and he can't seem to say no!!!
I have no clue. The person below says "victim blaming", I don't think so. I'd sooner say in his case it's almost like the so many cautionary tales of homosexuality and/or the stereotypes of childhood young gay men.
I am too American for this show. I have never been more frustrated by dialogue or actions in my life. I NEED Uea…
I'm not too American since I'm an immigrant & I feel anyone who has immigrant parents understands what's going on here. I thought everything here made perfect sense & I wasn't frustrated. First off, you don't go NC w/ your family. I call it "mother country" mentality we don't do that. Family means something. Sadly, even if it's toxic, it takes a lot for us to separate from it. 1. Uea has a younger sister who's allowance & school tuition is dependent on him. However, her guardianship is w/ his mother. This is his little sister. He loves her & she loves him. How do you expect him to leave her & go no contact. It's just not going to happen. 2. Even if the sister isn't in the equation...worldwide in these mother countries (mine included & we're not East Asian) we strongly strongly believe in family piety. This means that you respect & take care of your elders. It's almost like it doesn't matter what they do - they're still the elder & our duty is to them. I think the mother has officially cut ties w/ his mother in this episode & when his sister needs money for school fees or whatever he will pay them directly to the school & not to their mother. ************************************** Uea simply asked Krit that question b/c he wanted to know if there was a chance to actually REASON w/ him. Uea didn't want to quit his job. However, the phonecall made him realise that Krit was just like his mother - another toxic essence in his life that he needs to be away from. This is the reason the episode flowed the way it did & you see Uea comparing King to Krit & his mother, then realizing the differences. ************************************** It's the latter of your assumption. He was calling Uea stupid for allowing himself to be put in that situation. He had the choice to say no & he didn't. If you remember at the table when King, Uea, & Jade were having lunch - King said if he offers you anything say no. Uea had a multitude of reasons to say no, but he still chose to go. King told him this man is dangerous & HE knows Krit is dangerous why would you do somethingi so stupid. After going through something so traumatic (almost raped) that's not something you want to hear so Uea was upset & offended - of course. *************************************** I don't think anything is going to be rectified with the mother to be honest. That's a lot of blood in the water. This isn't a Tyler Perry movie.
i think it would have been fun if one of the guys was bi or gay
I COMPLETELY DISAGREE! I think society is getting to deep in this representation thing. This story has NOTHING to do w/ sexuality. I'm asexual & I don't need it represented ALL the time. Thailand is a walking bl extravaganza at this point. It mass produces bl trash. I don't need them randomly throwing in an LGBTQ+ character just to throw them in there when in the end their sexuality doesn't even mean anything. It's like the gay saying to a girl - I like guys but then there's no guy for him b/c the story isn't about that so he doesn't get a pairing. So why add it in the first place.
If were to get racy that would need to go Domundi. Wasi Sabi or GMMTV would do it. Not w/ GeminiFourth.

Perth NEVER said any homophobic comments. People, don't spread lies that could ruin someone's career.
