Blame screenwriters - in the novel she wasn't acting in such reckless way and what she has done was quick reaction to a discovery her team made during hunting - they found out about enemy squad sneaking up to the mountain and eliminating guards - so she knew something was fishy and asked for help and then made a raid on nearly empty backline camp. There was no penalty or fake marquis
