I like Xu Kai personally and I’m sure he’d do great but I’d just like someone else for a change, he always gets the best parts (and he’s an A-listed actor so he’ll always get work) I mean, one of the rumors had mentioned Deng Wei, I would have been so happy if it were him !

I mean, let’s not even mention the fact that the viewers may lose interest, like with Gilbert Lam’s Journey To The West (they waited six years), let’s simply remember that by the time they don’t release this, there may be a scandal with one of the actors which will make it impossible to ever release this and will definitely ruin everyone’s work (like Zhang Zhe Han’s Zhao Ge, where they waited 5 DAMN YEARS before his scandal came up ; they had 5 years to avoid this problem and look what happened)
