More than 2 yrs and no update yet, i think it's canceled
2 years donāt mean itās canceled ; some Chinese dramas stay shelved for four years before their sudden release (the longest Iāve seen is six years and Iāve seen that 3 times)
Hehe, todayās episode was so satisfying Canāt help but observe that Ma Xinyu is still as good when it comes to look pitiful despite playing a villain as she was in Mountains and Oceans
Want to know what happens with Pu Tuo and her siblings at the end. Does the father end up getting his sonās…
If I understand correctly, she does end up with Mo Li and her brother does give his kidney to his dad (there's this touching scene where they try to explain to him that they need his agreement for the surgery and they ask if he agrees ; after a few moments of silence where he seems to not understand what's going, he starts screaming "Savd Daddy ! Save Daddy !" and he signs without waiting š)
we have waited so long for this drama to air, so i dont think they are foolish enough to shelf this drama forever.…
How naive⦠Some very expected dramas are shelved during SIX YEARS⦠Weāve been waiting only one year, trust me, they will have no remorse making us wait longer
Iām glad about but I think they didnāt do Ma Xin Yu, the actress playing the villain here, justice : first, her appearance. Sheās a naturally striking beauty but they covered her with heavy make up, flashy clothes and heavy accessories which instead of highlighting her beauty tend to hide it and give her a showy and vulgar look, which is quite a pity Also, her dubbing : OMG, the actress is brillant but this weird voice which is so obviously not hers and seems to not decide between deep or high-pitch make it hard to take her seriously. I know sheās playing the stereotypical scheming and seducing bitch but why did they have to make it look so cliche ? Her facial expressions are good but her dubbing sounds weird and doesnāt seem in sync with her mouth so itās still hard to appreciate her acting. I didnāt expect them to let her use her real voice but the least they could have done is pick a proper dubbing Still glad to see her again though and hope to see more of her in the future. Iāve been a fan of hers since Mountains and Oceans : just like DaiDai, sheās a brilliant actress but extremely underrated. Which is why she had to turn to short-length dramas to get opportunities (Iāve noticed short-length dramas tend to have those underrated, talented performers who canāt find the ressources and good opportunities they deserve in long-length dramas)
It doesn't say here but I think FL here is visually impaired. Because the first word of the chinese title is ē²…
The female lead is indeed visually impaired : the Baidu synopsis mentions how she lose her sight on her wedding day and in several behind the scenes vids, she needs the male leadās help to go around

She had simply turned her back and they were on again š¤¢
