I have mixed feelings about this story. I'm reading the novel but I don't get the romance. It's just the ML/Xie…
Well, don’t read most Chinese novels then Trust me, the fact that he grabs her wrist is so light compared to what so many male leads do in many Chinese novels who are yet forgiven like it’s nothing (real rape, amongst other things, along with long terme abuse) that I REALLY don’t see anything shocking about Xie Wei compared to these guys
I have a question. When they adopt this type of novel into a drama do they follow the rebirth plot as well?
I don't know if they will for this one but they recently started to follow the rebirth trope as well, instead of changing it (like for Story of Kunning Palace)
FYI =The title has somewhat of the same storyline and name as the novel "The Rebirth of the Malicious Empress…
I just don’t get what’s the point in using almost the same title. It’s not gonna get them more viewership if that’s what they think (because viewers are smart enough to read the description)
On one hand i'm jealous of bai lu's character for getting these hot men in love with her but on the other i can't…
She definitely has the beauty and charm needed for a femme fatale, you could see why men would be crazy for her even if she were to be a bad person, like for her character in the previous lifetime (which is why they definitely picked the right actress!)
Out of pure curiosity : what made you unsatisfied ?I also feel somehow unsatisfied but I can’t put on my finger…
Oh I agree on that ! So there are some times where the nang Rai being raped trope doesn’t disturb me, like in that case (or for the lakorn Norah : the nang rai was raped because her mom had hired people to rape the female lead but because her own daughter went to their house to steal FL and her mom’s money, the rapists found the nang Rai and raped her by mistake. Total karma, so I loved it) But the problem is that Thai writers use this trope waaaaaaaaay too often and most of the time, it’s unnecessary
Not exactly… it’s much more complex than that…It’s more about fixing the regrets of the past life… as…
One is her first love, the only man she truly loved in the past life. But they can’t be together because they caused each other too much wounds One is her childhood friend who’s crazy about her but she feels only friendship and guilt towards him because she also hurt him and turned him into a monster in the past life (but he also deeply traumatized her so she can’t be with him even in this lifetime) And the male lead is a man she’s very afraid of because due to past life’s knowledge, she knows his secrets, how cunning he can be and more importantly : he caused her to die. But the more he gets to know her in this life, the more he grows fascinated.
Not very optimistic, to be honest… Well, who knows, maybe I’ll be proved wrong And I hope this will fasten the productions for others dramas from this author (I’m still waiting my Malicious Empress of Military Lineage and my Ill-Fated Consort !)

As a drama, it is named Mo Yu Yun Jian
Let’s threaten iQIYI with a group suicide : maybe we’ll get a chance if they realize they’re about to lose most of their subscribers
PS : I’m kidding, I’m kidding!

It’s more about fixing the regrets of the past life… as for the 3 guys… it’s REALLY complicated
They released way too much material now and haven’t taken it down ; moreover, they keep releasing
Well, who knows, maybe I’ll be proved wrong

Lol, good comparison
I heard about but didn’t find anything
