Title Ready for Love? Spoiler
Where did you watch it?
Thé beginning : they spend the night together because they were both drugged by her best friend (OMG, could it be more morally questionable and cliche)
Second : when she wakes up, she cries for 5 minutes and he just throws money at her, thinking she tricked him. Seriously, dude ? And then afterwards, she’s just angry that he threw his money at her (right, totally nails at the reaction of a rape victim 😓). And this doesn’t make the guy look like a chauvinistic jerk…
Then he offers her a marriage contract for a stupid reason : his granny likes her (well, my granny likes the 50 years old baker who has 2 kids oh my age, should I marry him ?)
And then later there’s her friend who has the worst perm ever (are these tentacles ? Can we get wifi with these ? Or is it to hide Easter Eggs) and a dress which seems to be a bathing suit (I’m not even exaggerating : you can see her WHOLE LEGS) who comes back and is like « hey buddy, I know I made you have sex with him but I like him ; give him to me » and ML exposes how she sends FL into her bedroom. And OMG, classic reaction of a doormat FL, she’s like « You’re my best friend so Why did you do this to me ? » with the classic tears in her eyes so that we would feel touched by her sadness. This actually gets me a tear… oh no wait, just realized that that this is a fly that flew in my eye, little b***. And that second female lead as curly as the French brand of aperitif is now screaming « this was all supposed to be mine ! Give it back ! »
And there also the guy whom she likes but who actually turns out to be a b*** just like that poor fly… no wait, this is actually insulting towards the fly, by the way the fly and I are all good now : she flew into my eye, I almost crashed her, so we decided we’re even but now I owe her an apology for the insult.
So… we have the rape incident being trivialized that offers us a steamy sex scene to make us forget that their is rape on both sides (because we viewers are dumb and without any ability to judge) and brings the leads together, a male lead who doesn’t deserve to have the same first name that the male lead of my favorite Chinese novel , the nonsensical writing and the doormat female lead that we’re supposed to find cute and innocent and not stupid and cringey and that I was even disappointed to not see being slapped by the villain (because sometimes that’s the only reason why I stay when there’s a doormat female lead : to see her turn the other cheek… AND GETS THE SMACK THAT SHE’S BEGGING FOR IN HER ALMIGHTY KINDNESS).
And now I wrote a whole thesis (my apologies really, I’m a writer so I can’t help but carry away when I do critics). Hope you’ll enjoy this more than I did

Where did you watch it?
But careful with your eyes : I’ve never seen so many bad cliches and stereotypes lining up since Look Up There’s Starlight
And to think a screenwriter was paid for that…

I don’t know if it was really banned or if screenwriters would simply refuse to use that because they thought…
Probably
Or maybe it’s because they want to distinguish from the time travel where you won’t come back at a past moment of YOUR life but when you travel to end up in a historical China (not certain though)

you're pretty right about the fact that the female leads travel back in time.
HOWEVER : for some reason that I never understood, whether it is in novels or in dramas, they do not call this "time travel" but they call this "rebirth". I don't know why either (I honestly feel like call it time traveling would make it more simpler)
I guess it's just a question of perspective or about which name we choose to call it, but after all it doesn't change much to the process : a character somehow goes back to a specific moment of her past, while keeping memories of everything that... has happened in the future (can't believe I actually used the past conjugation to talk about future ; the english teacher that I am feels like she has sinned)

Didn't China ban rebirth/reincarnation dramas or something? Wasn't it the reason why One and Only & Forever and…
I don’t know if it was really banned or if screenwriters would simply refuse to use that because they thought it would then make too many rebirth dramas (I mean, so many dramas are actually based on rebirth/transmigration novels) and maybe they thought that this trope is pretty unbelievable (not certain though)
But it seems that recently, the rebirth trope slowly started to gain a place in Dramaland (ex : Lost Love In Times, or Rebirth For You) so if there is banning, maybe it was simply canceled
And for One & Only/Forever & Ever, I suspect they made 2 dramas simply to make more money

Hum… he’s someone extremely cold. Like he devoted all of his life to revenge and calculation. He’s not cruel…
It's a very good novel !
But I should warn you : it can be pretty harsh sometimes

Hum… who’s Jiang Jun ?
I think so too
Actually, while watching TTEOTM, I watched a few extracts out of curiosity and it looks like a real breath of fresh air compared to the later ! This mix of fun and cuteness is precisely for me !

Title Game of Love
Just watched a few behind the scenes…
I’m glad because it seems they added/changed a few things compared to the original.
It’s good because although the original script was good, it was a bit lacking and poor and there were some elements which weren’t great and which wouldn’t be liked by today’s viewership
It also seems they made the plot more intense, I like this !

I hope they will release this drama soon. I can't wait! Synopsis looks promising, as well as cast. It would also…
Oh he’s definitely dark (not pure evil though)

Wow never seen a Contract Marriage btw President and Poor Girl ...
I guess that’s what viewers want… (I repeat : I GUESS, I don’t affirm that’s what they want… or maybe it’s simply what screenwriters think we want »

A few episodes agoBecause the male lead found out Bua’s brother was directly involved in a relative’s death…
I don’t think he would have gone through it anyway, even without this secret being revealed
Bua was too cruel and vicious and he never made a secret of the fact that he neither loved her nor wanted to marry her. Khun Luang is the kind of righteous man who has to obey his principles and his heart so I don’t think he could face forced himself.
If Bua had been a kind or compassionate woman maybe he could have taken it upon himself to do so : but she was evil from the beginning, and would easily kill or beat up others like it was nothing. I don’t think he could have forced himself to marry a woman whom he knows treats other humans like ants

Out of pure curiosity : what made you unsatisfied ?I also feel somehow unsatisfied but I can’t put on my finger…
Oh I agree on that one, Orn did nothing wrong ! Ever when she was falling for Liang and he was smitten with her from the beginning, she always maintained a proper distance and did everything to not interfere in their engagement
And I honestly that even without Orn or without the final reveal that Bua’s family was responsible for his brother’s death, Luang would eventually not have married Bua. He was reluctant from the beginning, and he never hid that he didn’t love her and didn’t want to marry her. And more importantly : Bua was a truly awful human being. She was vicious, jealous, cruel and had no compassion or respect for other lives, and I don’t think he would have been able to force himself to marry someone who treats human lives like ants
But I think that what maki3112 meant wasn’t that Orn had a duty to help Bua : I think that she meant that the writers should have used a better trope to punish her and that having Orn help her redeem herself would have been more original
