Her maid was also loyal to her but she literally used her body to protect herself and let her die. And she didn’t even seem to care I really don’t think she ever had a kind and merciful nature, otherwise she wouldn’t treat those who cared about her this way In my opinion, they all appeared as their real self in the dream, which is why she was cruel, ruthless and selfish Tantai Jin did go through real mistreatments, and also suffered a total lack of love and affection, so i can understand why he turned that way. But when he would receive care and affection, he would return (he did love his nanny until she betrayed him ; and the attention he received from SuSu obviously changed him). But YBC didn’t receive so much mistreatments, she did receive marks of love, and she certainly didn’t return the love and devotion she received from those who gave it to her
I’m so happy to see that Li Mu Chen finally got a main part that totally allows her to fully showcase her talent and her charisma She’s honestly on fire here, and shows even more talent than some A-listed actresses (I won’t give names !)
