The whole drama isn’t something itself but I’m crazy about the female lead I just discovered ! She’s pretty, charming and I love that her acting is natural, charismatic and not cliche. I hope she’ll get plenty of other parts !
Honestly ? Not my type. It’s definitely good but for some reason, I’m just not into it (maybe it’s because I had guessed the twist about the son and it made me too sad for him) However, I have to admit : in my opinion, Liu Yi Tong (the son, Qi Shuo) is definitely the star of the drama. Let’s not even talk about how touching and funny this character is, I just love the actor’s natural and funny dynamic. I had only seen him in very secondary parts until now and I’m glad he got this opportunity to showcase his performance. I honestly he definitely carries the whole drama and outshines everyone with a funny and natural charisma that makes you want him to become your best buddy
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE RATING? I was so excited for this, is it really that bad?😭
First half is okay But it slowly but surely goes downhill and leaves you EXTREMELY frustrated (villains barely punished, lot of hypocrisy and the good ones take so much suffering)
I’d say, the only good thing about this drama is Deng Wei’s acting : I had some doubts about his acting before but he definitely won me over here Weirdly enough, his one kiss with the female lead in episode 38 inspired me more feelings than the lead couple during the whole drama (or even, actually, the whole drama). This episode during which for once, he decided to give it all to save her, without caring about the rest, was so touching, especially how he hugged her when they were resting, as if for once, he could finally have her just for himself for just a moment, and this one moment was enough for him…
WANTED TO WATCH FOR luo-zheng , but he aint the male lead
he's still an important character of the story and he definitely got his own storyline (and his own girl). If it is for him, you should definitely watch. The drama itself isn't extraordinary but Luo Zheng definitely got enough screentime here
When there's a drama adaptation of this kind of novel, with a possessive, bordeline rapist ceo, they often change this kind of detail in the adaptation. For example, in the original light novel on which Once We Get Married is based, the male lead in the drama who is supposed to be cold and overbearing is actually an angel compared to the character in the novel So maybe we'll get none of the drugged wine and rape in the drama
soo.... he's not cancelled right? I hope so. Want to see more work from him.
One of his movies is soon to be released so he’s definitely not canceled ! (I think they try to use this to make everyone forget the scandal and have him come back)
I must be the only one who’s not bothered by the age gap… I mean, 1) this is ACTING ! No one asks them to sleep together for real 2) it’s not that obvious. Sean barely looks 30 and although Charlette is still very young, she’s obviously becoming a woman 3) the story is very innocent 4)if you want to complain then why don’t you complain about Lolita ? There are so many movies that did much worse than this 5) and last but not least : okay, yeah,I’m definitely biased because these two are amongst my favorite Thai actors, because they have such a cute chemistry and because I’m so glad that Charlette finally has a main part !
Unclear : neither happy nor bad. They don’t succeed in arresting the villain but they decide they will keep trying. Also, female lead confesses that she loves the male lead but he neither really rejects her nor accepts her

But it doesn’t look as good though

Even if you don't beg, there will be a team to sub it : those two actorsand their pairing were too popular
