Wow, the beginning is even more dramatic and angsty than Maid’s Revenge… So from my understanding : FL used to date SML. But she is forced to marry ML, who is sick, to wash away bad luck and save him. SML then marries FL’s sister ML and FL of them are drugged with an aphrodisiac and she gets pregnant (she almost gets killed because her in-laws first thought the kid was others ; I’m not sure but she may have been gangraped) For some reason, it makes ML the heir. SML is unhappy but then his wife attacks FL out of jealousy and she miscarries. When ML learns of that, he gets angry and threatens him with a gun
I like Bai Lu a lot but I think this part is a bit too similar to A Story of Kunning Palace so I’d rather someone else who never played a part like that before (Sun Yi, Shen Yue, Guan Xiao Tong, Li Qin, Li Mu Chen, Ni Yan, Wang Ruo Shan, Liu Mei Tong, Ruan Ju…)
I hate her and her character too much. but I have to admit that her acting is so good that it made me hate her
Same, her character traumatized me so much that even when I see her picture, I just want to slap her 😅😅😅 (however, as she’s a very good actress and succeeded in playing the character in a very perticular way, so I’m pretty disappointed to see that ever since, her career didn’t take a better turn)

Kinda I guess this ending called for season 2, though it is uncertain if they will do one like for the donghua Let’s just say, he kinda gives up on his feelings for Kong Linghui and seems to realize that Yong Er is the one he cares the most

There are so many other, dramas that wait to be remade for years now !
