I like Bai Lu a lot but I think this part is a bit too similar to A Story of Kunning Palace so I’d rather someone else who never played a part like that before (Sun Yi, Shen Yue, Guan Xiao Tong, Li Qin, Li Mu Chen, Ni Yan, Wang Ruo Shan, Liu Mei Tong, Ruan Ju…)
I hate her and her character too much. but I have to admit that her acting is so good that it made me hate her
Same, her character traumatized me so much that even when I see her picture, I just want to slap her 😅😅😅 (however, as she’s a very good actress and succeeded in playing the character in a very perticular way, so I’m pretty disappointed to see that ever since, her career didn’t take a better turn)

I think it was implied that they might do it (when he had his confrontation with Bao Rui) But truthfully, they may not have done it because there was no need : the guy had already received his punishment. Using a dying girl’s sickness to get more audience got him so much bad publicity that viewers not only boycotted the show and gave a very bad reputation but more importantly, it is strongly implied that his boss was about to fire him (he said that if he didn’t make Jiang Nan participate in the show, which would gain them the viewership’s forgiveness, he may pack his things and leave)

I think the novel had a bad ending
