Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand I'm dropping this. I'm sick of it Sick of the weak emperor who can't protect his subjects but asks them to stay by his side even though they keep suffering because of his incompetence Sick of the female lead being used and hurt and thrown around and there like a bag And sick of the male lead who doesn't trust the female lead's strength and then lets her suffer because he won't tell the truth (I'm sorry but i'm so over the "i lie to her, and let her think i don't love her to protect her because i'm such a knight in shining armour and martyr and she's a weak damsel in distress" trope ; if a man loves and trusts a woman, he must trust her enough to let her face hardships with him ; if I were in female lead's place, I'd be angry that the man I love would let me suffer in the name of "love" because he would think i'm such a fragile little thing and wouldn't trust that my love for him would make me strong enough to deal with hardships by his side)
There's a bit of mv here : https://weibo.com/u/7484367908But for some reason, it seems that the actor supposing…
Maybe they decided to intervert the first and second male lead after seeing DaiDai’s growing popularity (and let’s be honest : Vincent Wei’s part in Maid’s Revenge probably got him a lot of hate 😅 poor he)
Guan Xiao Tong is one of my favorite actresses ! It's too bad because I think she doesn't get enough work and most of her works aren't at the level of her talent
But for some reason, it seems that the actor supposing to play the male lead is the second male lead and that the actor playing the second male lead is actually the male lead
I havent watched it but ty for summarising it. Will watch it when i need a few bad shows to get over the really…
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Your comment made my day ! Strangely enough, I think your logic makes sense It’s like when I watch incredibly depressing tv series or movies(like law & order : SVU) , even though I usually prefer funny and romantic ones, because it makes me feel like my own life isn’t so terrible !
I guess this is not for me. I don’t want to hate Push 😫
The fact that he is hateful is not even the worst part, believe me (he’s actually pretty good at playing manipulative bastards : you can see why any women would want to believe his lies). The disastrous writing IS the worst part (that, and the obvious mishandling of the topic of sexual harassment and the fact that all women here are whores, stupid or bitches)
I'm a male. I haven't watched this. Is there any male here? I want other opinion, i know female audiences hate…
I confirm. I’m a girl and I don’t perticularly hate harem writing but the problem isn’t the harem : nonsensical writing using only sensational tropes and dislikeable characters (I mean, ALL of them)
there are two OST MVs out:https://video.h5.weibo.cn/1034:4778094733754425/4778402097663152https://weibo.com/tv/show/1034:4832215763452071?from=old_pc_videoshowI…
I'm like you : didn't expect much but after watching the trailer, it looks great !
2ML's mansplaining the rape video clip was shameful.
I know, right ? The show tried to present itself as denouncing and opp=osing matters of sexual harassment but they way they handled it shows that 1) this was obviously written by a man 2)for the screenwriter, rape was only a tool for the making the intrigue more sensational and a weapon between the characters, which is shameful (even the women characters would use it between them, which shows that really the screenwriter doesn't understand women and thinks we are promiscuous monsters). But there are plenty of elements that shows that they clearly don't understand the true implications of rape : first, the lack total or reaction from Chitsamai when learning Phong raped her during her incounscious state. I mean, she's angry but that's it : no traumatic feelings, no sadness (the fact that she had absolutely NO CLUE, no idea of having been raped and not even a feelling of trauma was weird enough, as i've heard that women who've been raped when being inconscious will nevertheless sense that something wrong has been done to them and show a reaction as consequence, even if they don't remember the rape or don't understand why they suddenly have this uneasy feeling ; but I can let that one pass because I've also heard that some drugs are indeed so strong that the victim really don't have any memory about it and therefore no reaction of trauma, as if it never happened, so i can let that one slide). There's also the fact that Buarin had obviously been sexually abused by her foster father but the show lets it pass like it's no big deal, like the fact that she sleeps with her foster dad is just one more proof of her being a promiscuous slut and not an explanation to why she became like she did, not a terrible thing that ruined a young girl's character, dignity and ability to have a normal life and they don't show her having any traumatic feeling about it. They almost seem to imply that she grew up in this kind of background because she's devious anyway

Watched here on the series’ Weibo

Just watched the MV and it seems she’s got more romantic scenes with Dai Gao Zheng than with Wei Tian Yu

15th episode revealed he was also a rapist…
