So Buarin sleeps with her Ā« father »⦠wow⦠in all my years of lakorn, Iāve never seen something so messed up⦠I just wonder : is he really her birth father, and he not only physically abused her but also sexually, or was he her foster father or something like that, which would be more plausible to me and less⦠disgusting (but not much less : I mean, blood related or not, thatās still sexual abuse over his daughter) Then it makes me see her character in a whole new light : she seems much more pitiful to me (I mean, if even her dad treated her like a sexual toy, itās no wonder she treats herself as such) but also I feel itās a pity because I think the writing could have exploited that subject and the trauma in a better way, for example, not making it look like this is why she became an easy slut and now showing the traumas and scars⦠but the lakorn is far from being over, maybe that will evolve)
Just watched Esther in Khun Chai Ronnapee where she played a villain⦠Turns out she was great ! So I think she will do a good job. However, Iām not as hopeful for Green : I watched a few of her dramas, and I just donāt think sheās a very good actress. She has something off in her acting, like a lack of natural and something in her eyes that make it look like sheās always having an anxiety/madness crisis
I'm guessing the fact that they held British and American citizens hostage to extort money won't be mentioned...
if they were to mention this, I think the chinese government would have them disappear God knows where before the drama could even go through censorship review
Our French cinematic and television industry usually produces a lot of crappy things nowadays and very few good material so I kinda feel proud to see that we finally have something that gets worthy getting remade even in Korea and that viewers call superior to its remakesš š
Sooooooo⦠I honestly REALLY love this drama : good actors, good writing, good story. Unfortunately, it suffered from the same phenomen that touched Shining Just For You : A VERY BAD EDITING !
