Went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised with how sweet and healing it was. Yeah, it's not perfect and obv the plot is not as depth and well developed as in the manga, but for a two hours movie they did their best. The directing was okay and the actors did a really great job to bring the characters to life (I appreciated their acting a lot, plus they got a very cute chemistry). It's not a masterpiece, but if one want something light and sweet to watch when tired and in search of a bit of comfort, this is really nice. Perfect if you search for a quiet, soothing night.
PS: warning for who didn't read the manga/novel or watched the anime, yeah the trope is reaaaally clichè in the beginning and since here there's not time to develop the story well, it's a bit all a bit hurried and not really explained, so if u like this I recommend going for the manga. For people who want a logical and realist plot, I'd say it's better to watch something else: this is great for relaxing when one doesn't really want to think.
I think for Ray it's because she knows he's a very lonely person, and hopes that if he has someone by his side…
I'm not saying he should be left alone, of course he need support from his loved ones! And ye while psychiatrists aren't indeed magicians, they have the tools to help you properly; while friends and lovers can help you by providing company and support, affection, one cant put on them the whole responsability to get u on your feets again. Especially if one is struggling with alcohol/drugs addictions.
I just think Mew was still hurt, confused and definitely he didn't want Ray to expose the cheating thing on his…
My hopes are so low, but damn if I wish they'd show Ray getting proper help and therapy in order to get back on his feets. I wouldn't even be mad if he doesn't end up with Sand or anyone else, just let me see him getting real help for his mental health and addictions. That's all I ask lmao.
I just think Mew was still hurt, confused and definitely he didn't want Ray to expose the cheating thing on his…
Yes, I agree. What Ray feels for Mew rather than romantic love is a deep affection and protectiveness born from the fact Mew quite literally saved his life by being at his side. Thats why I agree that now will came the arc where Ray will just let go of this one-side attachment with Mew (I mean Ray was already trying to let go without really being able to since nobody ever let him forget he's soooo in love with Mew). But I believe now he's gonna move on and, maybe, find comfort in Sand (hoping it won't turn again in a obsessive kind of relationship cause ye Ray has def abandonment issues and that's,,, ye).

Ray's problem is not gonna be fixed thanks to a lover sadly that boy need professional help and a great therapist. No partner should shoulder all of that alone, Ray is only gonna make him miserable if he will put all his hopes to be alright on his lover, that's just not how it works. I could understand hoping for Boston to stop sleeping around and settle, but also if he's clearly saying he doesn't not want that at a point u gotta respect it. For Mew it's even less comprensibile for me cause she doesn't exactly want him to find love at all cost, but especially to get laid? Like he will do it when he feel comfortable to and there's nothing wrong to be a virgin, why keeping to brings that up? I really like Chueam, but idk these things just leave me uhmmm why So I was wondering if she had some sort of traume regarding these sort of things.
Atp Ray needs to go to a rehabilitation center for his substance abuse before he ends up killing someone drunk…
Same like the boy doesn't need a lover, he need a freaking therapist and no one is telling him that (apart from Sand which is insane since they have know each other for like, a month?). Ray needs professional help.
Why on earth Mew punched Ray like this ? If he already knew the truth why would he protectTop and defend him like…
I just think Mew was still hurt, confused and definitely he didn't want Ray to expose the cheating thing on his birthday in front of EVERYONE when he still hadn't confronted Top about it (was it me, maybe I wouldn't have punched Ray, but sure as hell I would have shut him up cause no way u are embarrassing me like that in front of everyone). I'm sure he will be the one to tell the truth to the others the moment he will feel ready.
As for Ray... Unfortunately I think our man was just drunk AND high, which is not a very great combination for someone who clearly suffer from previous trauma, has a history of being self-destructive and s*icidal and quite literally has no self control over his pent up emotions. From the moment Top stepped in their life, Ray has been feeling jealous, hurt, angry, forgotten and most importantly, scared: Mew had always been his "emergency contact", the one who always be there at his side to help, he believed they were the most important person to each other and seeing Mew go on with his life, find love and put him at the side scared the shit out of him. Which resulted in him blowing up and taking a lot of awful and dangerous decisions (which still, Im not excusing him, he was assohole to everyone, Sand in particular, and drunk driving? No man, that's just a whole ass no, u should never, ever, do that in ur life).
And Nick always had a bit of criminal tendencies help the boy literally looked around Ton's phone without his consent (he freaking watched a video of him to masturbate without Ton knowing like??? Dude) and that's why I don't think it's so far fetched he could have thought to bug Ton's car lmao. A bit dramatic ye, but what isn't in this drama 💀
One thing I'm wondering about is whats going on with Chueam and her obsession that all her friends NEED to have a significant other in order to be happy, like she genuinely seems to want the best for her friends, but one can be happy and satisfied even with no romantic relationship help. I wonder if there's some kind of backstory there?
Haha, seriously. I was just saying to my best friend that it's a good thing Neo is already loved and known by…
Really, I'm so glad I'm watching Eclipse while waiting for the next of episode cause its making me really appreciate Neo as an actor. I was already thinking he was doing a good job playing Boston (he's such an interesting character even if I want to punch him every two seconds), but Im really liking him in Eclipse and all the nuances he was albe to give to his character. He's improving more and more and I'm looking forward what he will try next.
Started to watch Eclipse today and oh my god? Neo's character in that drama is such a nice, warm, thoughtful guy, which is such a dark contrast with Boston narcissistic slutty ass, like damn the whiplash I'm getting.
The cast was the saving grace of this drama, cause while the story did explore some very interesting themes, it was a bit messy and rather unrealistic. But man, the acting? Top notch. The main cast, especially First and Khaotung, brought their characters to life. I just couldn't get enough to see them on screen. They managed to make this ordinary plot shine like a gem, so props to them.
