Really digging up the "two timelines" thing, the original one and the one Great is creating by changing his "most regretful moments" (car's accident, Dome's death, Nam's death...) by preventing what he couldn't the first time.
By now we all agree on the fact that Great is probably dying in the hospital and while the 4 minutes are the time he has left to live before either waking up in the original timeline or dying, I cant help but notice the minutes in the clock going up only when he managed to prevent the deaths of those he couldn't save, so if this theory is correct, Great's clock should be at 11:03 after saving Nam, which left us with only one minute left. I wonder what's gonna be the next fateful event: saving Tyme, or Greats death itself, since we saw him bleeding and running away? And what happens to the changes Great made once he wakes up? Will everything disappear?
Also Yang is absolutely my favorite sob I just know he's gonna suffer and my heart already ache ππ I love the bond the two brothers share, really refreshing to see how much they care about each others π₯Ί
With how much they talk about Tian's secret here and there, I'm surprised nobody ever manage to put the two dots together apart from Yang, like bruh π
not gonna lie, idk most of the people in the cast, but i watched the pilot by chance and was really intriguing so im gonna keep track of this to see when it will comes out.
I didnβt let it detract from the impact of the moment, but I agree even just showing the emotional progression…
I had to skip the cgi scenes a bit because they were just taking me out of the mood of the whole performance, but yeah I would be interested to know what compelled them to decide to shoot the scene that way, especially since the tune seems to talk about a woman who was betrayed by her lover? For me it was just too much of everything.
Btw I'm loving the cousin lmaoo he's such a loud fool, but with good heart. I'm just so fond of him. I so hope he has a good ending.
Edit: watching the 11th episode and I have to comment cause what the fuck lmaoooo what was that scene with the qin, I'm sorry I can't take it seriously, like not only her moves were so different from the tune we were hearing and everyone was crying so dramatically but I just cantttt what was that with the goddess cgi helpppp ππ
After finishing this some days ago, I started to read the novel and damn the doors are WAY darker than the ones in the drama π (still very entertaining tho, I like sprinkled horror). Especially since it doesn't seem that in the novel the doors get the "let go of your regrets and anger" resolutions we have in the drama, so I'm curious to see what's gonna change when I'll get to the end of the novel. Also the characters are a bit different, but still quite enjoyable! Ling-ge is still a good person, but not the kind of almost-selfless hero we had in the drama and Ruan Lan Zhu is more shameless than ever lmao, even if he's still the smartest in the room and his caring interest for Ling-ge is also the same. All in all, I'm loving both version for now, so I recommend to everyone the check the novel out once you're done with the drama ^^
I ended up loving this serie, which was a pleasant surprise. It really keeps you hooked with amazing acting and a well constructed plot (there are some things left unexplained or a bit gloss over, but overall, a very consistent story, which it was something I always look for). Now, since I definitely want more, I'm gonna go read the novel lmao. I'm curious to see what differences I will find.
edit: just found out the original work was full of wlw stories and I was elated but NO they had to eliminate most of it whyyyyyy

Let's hope the writers will have mercy on us π
