Title Midnight Museum Spoiler
This drama could be ten times better if they actually bothered to explain things properly and nope, I'm not talking about Dome's identity or Khatha past. I'm talking about the artifacts and the cursed thing kept in the museum.

1. First of all, June. Love her, but god if her character doesn't puzzle me to death.
She got introduced as an employer and not even two minutes in she was already talking about a tragic ghost bride who of course it'll be related to her.
But what bothers me the most is that we get to see her going mad thanks to the cursed typewriter. Why? Was the writer who possessed the typewriter the original author of the legend? So she's not a ghost, but a character of a story? But then how tf she came to work in the museum? Nobody also knew she was a ghost too, like, what? Did she just appeared out of nowhere?
And now that the curse is broken why didn't she disappeared? She's not a ghost anymore? She's human now? Nothing about this make sense, really, and I just want answers.

2. The plot of ep 2 was at least more logical and they even explained to us what that dagger actually was and the story behind it. Thank god.
They told us a little more about Dome and Khatha, nothing crazy and I'm fine with it. Their story seems messy, but intriguing.

3. Those moths were clearly a device to let us see about Dome's missing memories, but anyways.
I'm actually fine about Bright's character not even questioning what the heck those butterfly were cause the boy was not in his right mind and pretty much drugged the entire time.
The only little iusse I have here is how they made Khatha just literally set fire to the moth-girl (and here, mh I'm gonna assume it was Doom's power that "tranformed" her) and, apart from the sad special effects, dude, if you set fire to a person in a room full of insects and alcol that whole place is gonna burn down. You're not gonna escape it with only a smoked suit. But okay, I guess.

4. This was a mess. They just throwed at us a purple crystal ball that destroys everything she come across and called it a day. Jesus.
Nobody told us anything about this artifact: where did they get it, how it came to be in the museum. Danger level? Nothing.
The only thing we know it's that it has a mission (thank you Dome for being an impulsive and self-sacrificing mess that get us clues) and that everyone who just get their hands on this ball loses their mind and goes on a killing spree without second thoughts. Must I suppose that this "grand mission" of this ball is mass destruction? If not, what's the point to burn just anyone?
Also how tf did the death boy (Jay?) come back from the dead? Not a word about that, too.
The most baffling thing is that nobody seems to freak out with all of this supernatural shit happening around them. Even the police, they just kept the crystal ball as evidence but not question the hell what's going on, like okay with Bum, who's friend with the museum guy, but come on? Nobody's freaking out with multiple weird deaths and inexplicable mutilated or burned bodies? Okay.

5. Idk what's happening to the plot anymore and at this point I gave up on thinking. The acting was on spot as usual, but just what was this plot? I understand this was the introduction episode for Anthika, but the whole story with the salt, cannibalism and brainwashing teenagers was predictable and kind of underwhelming.

The story between Dome and Khata keeps getting more and more tangled and confused, so I'll pray they'll give us a satisfying explanation for all of this.

I don't know about anything else but I'm strongly convinced that the mummy really is Dome's body from 1820. Something…
Yep, I think that too.
Probably there was a fire, and that's why the mummy is burned down.
It's also kind of sus cause in 1820 Dome was clearly wearing modern clothes (he had on a baseball cap for god's sake) so that wasn't his original time line.
At this point I'm wondering if it's one of these time paradox thing? Like future Dome going back to the past to meet Khata for some reasons.
Well, the only thing we can bu sure about it there's no way in hell that Dome is human lmao.

Title Midnight Museum Spoiler
Okay, so my only theory until now it's that dome's previous body is actually that mummy with red eyes. If it's not his body, then it's the thing that killed Dome in the first place.

Why? Well, first it's clear that Khatha give the mummy a great importance (it's probably the strongest artifact and he's kinda scared of it).
Also the mummy keeps to wake up everytime Dome it's in danger or he's near it and it actually helps him to control his powers (or maybe it controls him directly).
It's clear Dome is some form of identity who can else travel through time or he can 'reincarnate' taking over someone else's body. He also got some freaking nice powers btw.

Im not clear where Khatha stands in all of this tbh.
He met Dome for the first time in 1800 and somehow became immortal in the process. But he doesn't seems to have any other powers (which is a little disappointing), so how can he manage to keep the cursed artifacts locked up?
Oh, he can make the crystal ball on his cane glow tho. Even if they didn't show us how and what exactly happens when he does that.

So far from the first two episodes, as someone else commented here, the main and supporting actors and actresses…
Thank you for answering! The genre is something I really dig into so if the plot is interesting and the acting is well done, I'll try to check the first episodes to see if I'll like it.
Thank u again ^^

Watching the episode and gosh, Woongki, my boy, that must have been hard.
Absolutely livid he didn't win the first place, btw. Like idc how much do you like the others, he was objectively the better one? Especially the only one who kept his voice stable.

Park Ji Hoo has so much talent... he is 16 years old and he is so mature and hard-working. I don't know if he'll…
I don't think he'll debut in this group, but I really hope he'll be able to debut later on. He's young, but full of passion and talent, just think how great he could become.
I hope he'll be able to make it! He deserve it.

I loved the law performance but I really wanted zoom to win ;(
Same here, loved Law, but I still prefer Zoom's stage. But I was kinda expecting it to end like this seeing how Law's teams got a lot more korean trainees compared to the Zoom's team, sigh.

As usual: my thoughts on the full stages without cuts and with yet to see the full episode.

→ Butterfly
This was... fine. Butterfly has insane high notes so yeah I was kinda expecting some not-so-amazing vocals.
The stage was really pretty tho and I kinda want to give kudos to the blonde guy, who was quite stable and did that really beatiful dance with the white cloth. For me, he was the best.
Cong was great too! His voice was nice and it went well with the vibe of the song.
All in all, nothing special, but nice enough! It was great~

→ Not Spring Love or Cherry Blossom (?)
I mean idk maybe it's because it's really not my style, but... well. Really pretty, youthful stage, with pink cherry blossom and mhhh I feel bad to say this, but it bored me help.
Idk I don't have anything else to say, sorry,,,

→ Feel Special
Quite shaking vocals, but the performace was cute. Woongki did really great, he had the vibe on spot and he kept his voice stable. Love his smile btw.
Also idk his name but the black hired guy who danced with Woonki had really a nice voice.
Nothing impressive, but I enjoyed it and it made me smile lmao.

→ Limousine
Unfortunately I can't say anything about the lyrics cause I don't understand korean and there weren't any subtitles, but, fuck, this was amazing.
The whole performance was so raw, I felt their emotions even if I didn't understand a word. Incredible vocals from the whole team, Anthonny did a wonderful job, damn I got chills at his high note after that heart-wrenching rap and tbh I was blown away from his stage presence, like damn he is freaking good.
Krystian was a surprise, I knew he could sing, but this song did really brought out the best of his skills. So nice, even his rap was pretty good, I didn't know his voice could be so scratchy and rough.
Ji Hoo did so well, his voice fit the vibe the songs really a lot more than I thought. Very nice vocals.
Idk how many points did they get but I hope it was really a fucking lot cause they really served. Kinda can't stop to listen to this.

→ Rush Hour
It was kinda amazing how RIcky fit the vibe of this song so well lmao he embodies the chill, laid-back, but cool and trendy guy. Also his vocals got better again, so I liked his parts.
Hiroto did nice also, and the others were okay too, there wasn't really anything wrong with it, but tbh after we got Jay and Kamden singing to this in the first episode? Sorry, but I still prefer their version. I mean, Jay's voice was just too freaking great.
So yeah, they did nice, but I can't help but compare a little, sorry T^T

→ Man in Love
Fucking hell. Kim Taerae the man you are. I'm so glad we got to hear his full potential in this song, like damn he's got one of the best voice in this show. He's on par with Jay & Hui and boyy that was a blessing for my ears. I really want to hear him sing again and he definitely got a place in my top 9.
Dongyeol harmonising with Taerae definitely one of the best thing we got out of today's episode. The boy did really great, damn his voice is so nice, I'm so happy we did have one vocal songs performed so well. They all did so well.
Btw Mingyu?? I was worried about him being in a team so strong, but he did found his place, wow, didn't expect him to deliver his rap so well? The boy grew a lot and he managed to keep his voice quite stable, so I'm proud of him. You used your time here well.
This was 100% my favorite of the vocals performace and I hope they got some high votes cause they surely deserved it.

→ Law
Ohhhh this was so nice. Totally my style. Loved it.
Park Hanbin I swear to god it's like that boy came out of ateez's demon line, he's got some sharp dance moves, the power and definitely the expressions on spot. Also his vocal are damn nice.
Btw Na Kamden's rap, fuck, that, that was a crazy delivery, I may have a thing for his voice I'll be honest, it just goes so deep.
This team had the best dancers cohesively, I mean Wang Zi Hao? That dance break in the middle of the song was incredible, his krump was kinda a power move lmao so good.
Yu Jin improved again lmao I was really happy with him in this performance, energy, rap, dance & expressions, he did it all. Good job, kid.
Ye Dam slayed that killing part, deserved. He never fail to impress me, he kinda is an all rounded.
Loved this, nothing to say!

→ Tomboy
Oh, if I was waiting for this. And they delivered, damn.
Bro, idk who did that arrangement but that was freaking good?? What the hell? It sound so nice, my god. And I don't even know where to start for everything else, like jesus christ. That sure was a performance and I need to remember how to breathe.
Sung Hanbin, that man is our first place for a reason: he got everything, really, there's no way he just learned how to sing because those vocals?? BRO. He just pass the whole vibe check for this song, I kind of die everytime he appears on screen.
I don't even know what to say anymore. Just debut, Hanbin. Debut and live your best life cause you have everything in order to make it.
Btw Zhang Hao, honestly? Yes. YES YES YES. He was just made for this song, he was full in his element and it showed. I couldn't look away from him. I'm so glad he got to perform this because it really showcased his skills in the best way ever. Our boy delivered and I can't be more proud of him.
Also Gun Wook's rap? Damn. I knew he was good, but that was nice. Like really nice. Idk if being in a team so full of talented people really made him lose all his inhibitions or what else, but I'm glad it happened lmao.
Now, listen... Talking about Hui, I don't give a fuck anymore, y'all can say what you want about him being too much of this or too little of that, the only thing that matter to me it's that he's got a voice sent from heaven and for the love of god I can't /not/ recognize him when I'm presented with that much talent and efforts.
I just get weak everytime he opens his mouth, just, I freaking love hear him sing. Listen to Hui harmonising with Hanbin and Zhang Hao was a blessing. Period. Argue with the wall.

This became an essay, oh my gosh lmao. Sorry about this. I'll probably edit something to add my thoughts after I'll watch the whole episode.

Here my commentary on today's performance that no one asked for lmao (as usual I didn't watch the episode yet, I've only seen the videos on youtube, the ones without cuts and weird edits thank god).

→ Love Killa
Oh, this was so nice. Tbh Seo Won surprised me, I didn't think the concept would suit him this much omg also his and Matthew's vocals were a blessing to the ears. Their voices sound so good together, kinda want to see them sing together again lol.
Totally get why Kim Gyu Vin is a fan favorite. That boy's voice is dripping with honey, kinda hypnotizing.
Mnet finally let Ji Woong sing and rap, and yeah, he's pretty good (especially the finale), even if I liked his dance break a little more.
Very good performance all in all! Enjoyed it a lot.

→ Zoom
Hands down my favorite performance of the episode. They SLAYED.
The energy, the vibe, everything was right. They not only had the dance and the rap on spot, but even the vocal where fantastic, like damn? The whole package.
No kidding Park Hyun Bin improved so much, he started the performance with his rap and set the best atmosphere ever, I'm really proud of him.
Harutoooooo my boy you never disappoint sob his rap was so sassy as usual, but his dance breaks were really clever lmao that freeze with the snap? Very clever choreography.
Also I kid you not I almost dropped my phone when Keita started rapping like boy?? HELL now that was /intense/. So freaking good. I suppose my man was again the leader this time cause he really hyped all the boys harmonizing with them in the background.
Wumuti and Ollie were absolutely fantastic, I did't know Ollie could rap like that, nice surprise, and Wumuti as usual had flawless vocals.
Now this is a stage that deserve to be on the mcountdown.

→ Home
They blessed us with vocals. Also the stage was very pretty.
What can I say, Jay's voice is really one of the best. It's so clear, yet powerful.
Yun Seo and Honghai's voice were so soothing, almost like angels. Really good and obv Yoo Seung Hoo's vocals were just the cherry on the top.
I must admit my favorite part was him and Jong Woo harmonizing together, it sounded so pleasing on the ears.
A very nice performance, I'm so glad they all did so well.

→ Gang
Another stage overflowing with energy. Liked their choreography, they all dance really well.
Seunghwan is really freaking good and he slayed that killing part. He has a good control on his voice and tbh I didn't know he could rap that good. This boy is clearly an all rounded and he sure know how to put on a show, very good expressions and sharp dance moves.
Idk the name of the rapper with brown hair but kudos to him cause he really did good in his part!
Also there was a weird kid good at dance who kept fooling around lmao he was so funny.
All in all they all did well lmao, it must have been difficult for the live audience.

My most awaited stages of next ep: tomboy, law, man in love, butterfly and limousine.
