One thing I'm wondering about is whats going on with Chueam and her obsession that all her friends NEED to have a significant other in order to be happy, like she genuinely seems to want the best for her friends, but one can be happy and satisfied even with no romantic relationship help. I wonder if there's some kind of backstory there?
Haha, seriously. I was just saying to my best friend that it's a good thing Neo is already loved and known by…
Really, I'm so glad I'm watching Eclipse while waiting for the next of episode cause its making me really appreciate Neo as an actor. I was already thinking he was doing a good job playing Boston (he's such an interesting character even if I want to punch him every two seconds), but Im really liking him in Eclipse and all the nuances he was albe to give to his character. He's improving more and more and I'm looking forward what he will try next.
Started to watch Eclipse today and oh my god? Neo's character in that drama is such a nice, warm, thoughtful guy, which is such a dark contrast with Boston narcissistic slutty ass, like damn the whiplash I'm getting.
The cast was the saving grace of this drama, cause while the story did explore some very interesting themes, it was a bit messy and rather unrealistic. But man, the acting? Top notch. The main cast, especially First and Khaotung, brought their characters to life. I just couldn't get enough to see them on screen. They managed to make this ordinary plot shine like a gem, so props to them.
Really don't know how to feel about the TopMew couple. I mean, apart from the obvious red flags Top is leaving around (cheating, lying, gaslighting mew in feeling guilty to then love bombing him when the poor boy starts noticing something is very wrong) they leave me kinda... Unsettled? It's like neither of them it's really there with each other idk I really like mew as a character cause he know what he wants and he keeps his boundaries clear, but really he and Top together it's just confusing cause they don't look interested in each other to me. Their dynamic it's just weird for now.
Ahn Eun Jin's acting in this drama is oustanding like damn I was worried at first cause it's been a while since NKM did a romance drama (and an historical one at that) and usually his co-star have a certain difficulty to get at his level of acting, but AEJ? That woman is living her role and shining through like a gem. Their chemestry is top notch. Also the cinematography is so in tune with the plot/storyline? Very movie-like and believable, combined with an amazing support cast. It's been a while since I found a dark historical drama with a romance plotline so well done. Kudos to them.
it think they might bait tragic ending, but give some bitter-sweet semi open one
I'd like that too, but idk, the beginning of the first ep doesn't let me hope much... The guy in "prison" could be the one we saw singing in this two eps (he seems much attached to Jang Hyun) and unless he betrayed the protagonist like really bad I don't think he would let guy stay there. So we will see ig 🥲
The vibe it's so different form the season one, especially the the first part of season one, like what happened? No emphasis on the storyline and suddenly every member of the team it's just a back up for Mun? I want to see them being strong together. Also the comedy it's just,,, not good? The hell it was that scene with gangster? Not convinced at all but well we'll see ðŸ˜
