On the boys planet's page on mnet app there's a banner that says "do you agree with this combination?" click that and they'll let choose six boys for each song. But the voting period end on 10 March so hurry up!
I am still in the middle of the episode 6 and it's funny how the fully vocal song, IU's song was given to the…
I was wondering the same, like why they gave the killing part to da eul,,? I mean I understand ichan's throat isn't in the best condition, but his vocals are still better than da eul's,,,,
Here my commentary on today's performance that no one asked for lmao (as usual I didn't watch the episode yet, I've only seen the videos on youtube, the ones without cuts and weird edits thank god).
→ Love Killa Oh, this was so nice. Tbh Seo Won surprised me, I didn't think the concept would suit him this much omg also his and Matthew's vocals were a blessing to the ears. Their voices sound so good together, kinda want to see them sing together again lol. Totally get why Kim Gyu Vin is a fan favorite. That boy's voice is dripping with honey, kinda hypnotizing. Mnet finally let Ji Woong sing and rap, and yeah, he's pretty good (especially the finale), even if I liked his dance break a little more. Very good performance all in all! Enjoyed it a lot.
→ Zoom Hands down my favorite performance of the episode. They SLAYED. The energy, the vibe, everything was right. They not only had the dance and the rap on spot, but even the vocal where fantastic, like damn? The whole package. No kidding Park Hyun Bin improved so much, he started the performance with his rap and set the best atmosphere ever, I'm really proud of him. Harutoooooo my boy you never disappoint sob his rap was so sassy as usual, but his dance breaks were really clever lmao that freeze with the snap? Very clever choreography. Also I kid you not I almost dropped my phone when Keita started rapping like boy?? HELL now that was /intense/. So freaking good. I suppose my man was again the leader this time cause he really hyped all the boys harmonizing with them in the background. Wumuti and Ollie were absolutely fantastic, I did't know Ollie could rap like that, nice surprise, and Wumuti as usual had flawless vocals. Now this is a stage that deserve to be on the mcountdown.
→ Home They blessed us with vocals. Also the stage was very pretty. What can I say, Jay's voice is really one of the best. It's so clear, yet powerful. Yun Seo and Honghai's voice were so soothing, almost like angels. Really good and obv Yoo Seung Hoo's vocals were just the cherry on the top. I must admit my favorite part was him and Jong Woo harmonizing together, it sounded so pleasing on the ears. A very nice performance, I'm so glad they all did so well.
→ Gang Another stage overflowing with energy. Liked their choreography, they all dance really well. Seunghwan is really freaking good and he slayed that killing part. He has a good control on his voice and tbh I didn't know he could rap that good. This boy is clearly an all rounded and he sure know how to put on a show, very good expressions and sharp dance moves. Idk the name of the rapper with brown hair but kudos to him cause he really did good in his part! Also there was a weird kid good at dance who kept fooling around lmao he was so funny. All in all they all did well lmao, it must have been difficult for the live audience.
My most awaited stages of next ep: tomboy, law, man in love, butterfly and limousine.
After all the hate the g group trainees are getting, I'm so glad we'll have mixed group next week. Does someone knows if they'll have some benefits for the winners of the challenge this time too?
I just realised that if we don't count Hui and Jiwoong (who are born before 2000), Zhang Hao is the oldest of our top 9 even if he look one of the youngest I'm gonna cry that's so cute.
Today's elimination left me speechless, it's not even funny anymore. Why some of the worst skilled trainees are so high in ranking, while the polished ones got eliminated? Do people even have eyes and ears? Sob. Whatever. I'm gonna watch next episode only because we'll get Han Bin, Zhang Hao, Hui and Gunwook in one group performing tomboy and that, I need to see.
I just can't get over how biased Mnet is towards K-groups. I just finished ep 4 and there were so many incidents…
Honestly, from the first day, the whole K group vs G group was a blatantly way to favor Korean trainees. Mnet edit is so biased its embarrassing and they /knew/ that putting the two group against each other in the first challenges would have resulted in a win for the K group: let's be real, they try to put down international trainees every chance they get and the audience who get to do the live voting at the performance is mostly korean. What they did expect that would happen?
I always hated live voting with passion and while, yeah okay, getting to "choose" your group is nice, they should give the mentors the power to evaluate the performances and then maybe calculate the overall score with 60% masters and 40% live voting.
Not mean to be harsh, I'm genuinely curious, but why do you think rap isn't that relevant for kpop groups?I mean,…
Ohh I get what u mean. Yeah, even for me or you're gonna be exceptional good at rapping (and with this, I mean you also gotta be able write your own lyrics and arrange the music, cause if not what's the point) or else you're gonna have to be able to sing/dance (Haruto is one of my pick too ^^). After all, I go for skills, lol.
I really like Jiwoong but he shouldn't have gotten 257 votes just for showing his abs, and it made me sad that…
Sorry but I haven't watched the ep live and what do u mean that all the trainees are gonna get the bonus according to the overall result? Is this for real? My god that's practically cheating, it's like they just wanted to eliminated more international trainees as possible (which, is probably right).
Things I just wanna say after watching the episode:If my teammate said he cannot sing or dance or rap (those two…
Not mean to be harsh, I'm genuinely curious, but why do you think rap isn't that relevant for kpop groups? I mean, I can understand the vocal (why trying to be an idol if u can't even sing?), but I usually tend to gravitate towards group who also have a strong rap line.
(Not that I'm looking down on dance, I freaking love watching dancers and I admire them greatly because for me dancing is a form of art. But at the end of the day you need to sell music, so. The songs must be pleasing at the ears.)
