If something must be said about this drama its that the characters are really well constructed, damn even the antagonists or the support roles, they're so interesting and well made.
here's what i think : remember when the queen asked court lady shin to look for the physicians who were involved…
I have the same doubt, but why kill the Crown Prince then? For revenge? Master Toji didn't seem to be involved with the royal physician's mess (the poison and all) but I can't help but ponder (only because that was a really stupid thing to do just because he was infatuated with Consort Hwang lmao). Idk I believe there's more there. But you're probably right about Master Toji be the only physician who survived after the QD trying to get rid of everyone.
Everyone seems to be forgetting this, but what about the royal doctor and his "master"? Even if the royal doctor poisoned the late Crown Prince because he's in love with Consort Hwang (which mhh okay but really?? Did he just thrown away his life for like, nothing? He must have know what waited him after such a thing) I'm really curious about his involvement with Master Toji. I mean, what is Toji's purpose? He seems a pretty big role in all of this mess but we know almost nothing lmao. Someone's got a theory or something?
I agree with you. I also think Seongnam will become Crown Prince and then at the first chance he'll get, he will call back his nephew to the place to pass him the throne (that would have been rightfully his if his father didn't die).
I wasn't expecting this to be so good and certainly I did not expect to found myself in tears by the end of the third episode, but here we are. Absolutely dropping Curtain Call in favor to watch this.
Also idk who's acting the Second Grand Prince but damn his voice??? It's so deep omg I could listen to him talk all the time.
You misunderstood me about the jurors: when I said they're connected I didn't mean like they knew each others (for legal reason they can't know each other or they won't be admitted in the jury), but every one of them clearly has something to do with the killer (may them be perpetrators or victims) and a coincidence like that it's almost impossible. So, yeah, I believe the draw was somehow cheated even if I don't know how. Btw I've yet to watch episode 7 & 8 so idk if they explain some of issues I have addressed here.
Even if it's a criminal organization, it's registered as welfare house. People quite literally wrote them letters to send orphans in because of this. Also, as Crazy Dog mentions one point in the last episode, they have "guests" sometimes and the kids can't look beaten up. So or it's some psycho who wants to buy the kids or it's someone from the goverment who checks if everything's alright.
Also yeah, surely the jurors where chosen specifically, like, that's clear. It's just that it's a difficult things to do, to cheat the draw - unless it was RSH's doing (and even like that...). I just hope they'll give me a quite convincing and logical explanation lmao.
Tbh what yall expected Choi Do Il to do in that situation lmao I can't even blame him since this had been his goal from the start... Yeah, I hope he will riunite with In Joo at the end, but even if it doesn't happen, he did what he intended to do, so I'm quite satisfied with his character.
