What's going on with the romance here? We aren't even two episode in, Hwi and Hee Jae literally met only four…
Barely made on the end of episode 3 and I'm dropping this. I usually enjoy historical drama but I guess this one is not for me and I'm sad about it because I really like the cast and the visual is also kind of good, but the story is so boring, idk why but I can't seem to get interested in it, maybe it's just a little too predictable.
I encourage everyone to give this drama a try tho, it maybe be your cup of tea, especially because the acting is top notch.

What's going on with the romance here? We aren't even two episode in, Hwi and Hee Jae literally met only four times and they had the time to fall in love and kiss?? Like what? And also Seon Ho is in love with her, tbh I wasn't expecting this seeing how this drama focus more on war and politics (and the leads' friendship) but they are following A LOT of clichè, every encounter Hwi and Hee Jae had was literally the most used textbook romance . A little bit disappointed on this side, let's hope that the political part is better.

Also, stellar performance from the cast, there's a lot of actor I like, so I'm really happy for that.

The drama is getting better and better with each new episode and I really hope they'll keep rhythm, can't wait…
Oh, with this I agree wholehartly, it's really obvious that Yo Han adored his brother and his niece and I believe that he wasn't the one who hurted them (or at least if he was he didn't do it intentionally). It's just that with the last sentece it makes me believe that there's something fabricated in his story, even if I don't know what it is...
And there's so many questions to answer, also I'm still convinced that there must be some connection between Ga On and Isaac, there's no way the two of them would be so identical coincidentally.

The scene the most vivid to me was the slow, wide panned shot when they were all running, pushing over each other…
God, that scene with the little Elijah just broke my heart, just how can you do that to a child... The pained and shocked expressions plastered on Yo Han and Isaac's faces... That hurted

Honestly, I myself want to trust Yo Han /so bad/ but man he really doesn't make it easy. As they were telling his story I was feeling so bad for him and his family, like I can understand why he's acting like this. And then he whispered that last sentence?? Like what was he referring to?? Did he made up the whole story he said to Ga On or maybe did omit some parts? I'm so confused shsh

He's not quite annoying rather than stupid. Sure! someone can get suspicions of others based on rumors alone and…
Never said that some of his decisions aren't exactly the smartest (I pointed out this aspect in some of my earlier comments about the previous episodes), especially when he installed the listening device in Yo Han's study.
But apart from that, he isn't really breaking the law tho, because the research he's doing on Yo Han is done with the help of the police (his female friend, but still a cop) and they can investigate someone who's suspicious even if there are some limits.
So, while I agree to a certain point, I believe that's a bit of a stretch to affirm that Ga On sole purpose is to explain Yo Han's intentions and his past. Sure, Yo Han is the main character of this story and the most interesting one, but I don't think the writer created Ga On just with this in mind (or at least I hope, we're only four episode in, there's time to watch and see what's exactly Ga On role in all of this).

I can understand why people find Ga On annoying and a little bit impartial, but if you think about it, he doesn't really had a good start with Yo Han.I mean, at first he still had to meet Yo Han and his teacher was already warning him to not trust Yo Han because he seems to have an ulterior motive. Then, immediately after their first encounter, Ga On witness Yo Han shooting at a bus without esitation and when he tried to talk with Yo Han about it, the judge only made it about how it's better to have only one person killed instead of two. When Ga On listens to Yo Han's phonecalls its seems that Yo Han is doing shady business for the trial and during the trial Ga On watch how Yo Han is ready to do everything to accomplish his goals and how he doesn't feel real sympathy towards people.Every time they talk, Yo Han tries to mislead Ga On and doesn't ever give a straight answer. It makes sense that Ga On wants to investigate him and is curious about his past. Especially after the priest told him that story (it was kinda idiotic, I know) and he himself witnesses Yo Han hammering a stranger's car (the jerk was at fault but you can't tell me that's normal). So, while it's true that Ga On is making is how assumptions without actually verifying anything, I really can't blame him shsh Yo Han IS suspicious. If I was him, I will also want to look around his house and try to get more informations as possibile, even if they are only rumors.

I feel too, I feel Isaac is the real villain and Yo Han is the victim, but is it that Ga On resembles him ?? or…
I don't really know if Isaac is the real villain, because in the preview of the next episode it's shown Ga On accusing Yo Han to have killed Isaac and Yo Han reacts very emotionally, grabbing Ga On on the neck and pushing him against the wall daring to say those words again; he looks furious and almost if he has tears in his eyes, so I think that Yo Han really cared about his brother.
But yeah there must be a reason why Elijah hate Isaac that much.

It can't be that Master Isaac is Ga On's father, right? The two of them look to much alike to not be related... Is this why Yo Han almost losed his cool threatening the man who made the bomb? It looks like Yo Han does his best to mislead Ga On in every way he can, but actually he kinda takes care of him a lot and probably that's because he remember him of his brother.
Also I don't think that Kang Yo Han actually murdered his brother, because it seems almost like he's seeking revenge for him. And we seen Master Isaac standing in the middle of fire, like it was himself to have started it. Or probably someone tried to kill Yo Han but his brother sacrificed himself to save him.

I almost forgot, but if master Isaac's mother died when master Isaac was so little, then what about Elijah? She is their sister, isn't it? Did the master of the house remarried after a while?
I'm really curious about her character, she's intresting because she seems to hate Yo Han, but also she hates Ga On because of his face, so it means that she hates him since he remember her of Master Isaac. But why should she hate him just because Ga On resemble her brother? Does this mean that in reality Master Isaac was not that good as he was painted? Or is it something else?
